i like not having to worry about the wires getting in the way

i got these to replace my g430 and i find them far superior.

This is a follow up review. I have not had any issues with battery life, charging times, and range. I did have to try a few different locations for the wireless receiver b4 a was able to get my range up to 35-40'

The headset is comfortable and produces great sound!

Overall, the headset was worth the sale price. Unfortunately the software doesn't work very well if at all, especially if you have other logitech gaming items. The headset otherwise has great sound compared to other headsets I've had and its pretty comfortable.

Outline: 1 Quality 2. Built Tough 3.Great Warranty, and Logitech has given me great warranty service if I do mange to wear something out. 4. I noticed no loss of sound quality or performance changing from the G35 wired to the G930 5. I can play long sessions without worries of having to plug in. If you do have to plug in you can, and just keep on going. I just charge the headset overnight and can it is always ready for another long battle. I previously had the Logitech G35 wired headset with 7.1 surround sound and it lasted me a good while and It had taken a great deal of accidental punishment landing on the floor countless times. The cord on my G35 never came loose or lost connection. One day it hit the floor one too many times and the ear cup snapped loose right at the swivel and since I wanted to upgrade to wireless and Best Buy had a unbelievable sale at the time I was forced :D to purchase this G930 headset. The 7.1 simulated Surround Sound is definitely a advantage for FPS gaming and stomps lesser headsets. The surround sound often helps locate your next victim before you see them. You often know were they are when they are clueless that you are there. I have been using Logitech Gaming hardware for a long time. I have My current G930 Headset. G700 Gaming Mouse G510 Gaming Keyboard MX518 Mouse Logitech Webcam 250 My previos G35 Headset took allot of accidental abuse for a long time and gave me many hours of fun before succumbing to the deadly combination of gravity and a ceramic tile floor. BTW look at the construction on the headset and notice the Stainless spring Steel in its construction. In comparison to some of the other gaming brands. I have worn out several Gaming Mice and headsets and Logitech outlasts the other major brand "For Gamers" by a very noticeable margin. In my experience Logitech is very well made and is the far and away a better value than its competition. Yes I would recommend this to a friend and I have. Many friends have purchased Logitech on my recommendation and not one of them have regretted it. You only hurt the ones you love. Come and get some love :D Slydog /-DH-\

Works great in any PC setup. Wireless has exc lent range.

I've used many headset in my gaming but these are my favorite pair. The wireless function leads to me not strangling myself with the cords and the sound is clear both on listening and on transmitting.

I have been a big fan of the Logitech G-series headphones for a long time. In fact, only bought this one when my 3 year old set finally broke, and they no longer make that model. So I figured wireless would be GREAT! Everything about the Logitech G-series headsets is here - ear enclosing "cans" that block out almost all other noise; comfortable padding on ear "cans". Simple volume control. Easy swing away boom mic with muted light so you can tell when others hear you or not, etc. Basically a great headset. My only gripe was that the "wireless" part - while true, is only true when not charging, but with a lot of use, you'll need to charge it, and to do so, you need to plug in a "wheel" with cable to the USB port, then to the headset, and it has a USB port in the Wheel where the wireless antenna goes. Works fine, but if you thought this was going to free up a USB port on your machine, I would think again. It doesn't have to be there ALL the time, but for me, it's in there MOST of the time.

My son does a lot of gaming and he really likes these

I've used other headsets but the mic quality was not good. This unit seems to have the best mic by far.

I realized 4 years ago my son was into games. So I thought OK I'm not into this myself but why prevent a child from what he wants to do? So let's go for the flagship stuff. After lots of research for the mouse, keyboard and headphones Logitech was the way to go . After 4 years he had worn them out so after much! shopping around BB had the best deals so QED. He is so happy with the new ones. P.S. His g700 mouse died just before the 3 year warranty expired so he was sent a brand new g700s mouse replacement from Logitech. His Gaming Keyboard G510 is still going strong. Pay for the best and you get the best.

Works great for my PC and PS4 as a wireless headset

My son loves it for gaming- likes all the features. I have used it for work webinar. Comfortable and good sound quality. Did have to replace the first one as the microphone piece wouldn't stay up/ which mutes sound. No hassle to get replaced by going to Best Buy- good customer service.

Great headset for the price. My son loves it!!!!!!

I'll start by saying I have two of this headset. The vinyl on the headset pads cracked and started flaking off into my hair after over 4000 hours of use. The headset itself worked great, still. While I was being lazy about ordering replacement pads, which were around $14 shipped, I tried a few replacement headsets, including the Logitech G933 and the Razer Man o' War. Both of those had significant flaws, which I've covered in reviews on those product pages. After much frustration with those models, bought this headset once again. It's comfortable, and it sounds great. The only caveat I have for you: don't install the logitech gaming software, as it can cause frequent disconnection issues.
