Headset Mic always muting, mute uncontrollable

I snagged this on sale for $99 and now I know why it was on sale. The points of a wireless headset that is meant for gaming is to be able to speak. But constantly I heard the beep in my ear and the microphone mutes, and once muted you cannot unmute. The Mute button doesn't work at all, period. Then, most of the time, swinging the headsetup up and down doesn't control mute. G HUB software says there is no headset connected, even though I can hear audio. Watch yourself on this purchase and make sure you get a service plan!

Disappointed with these. Charge port is micro usb and fragile. Returned for the Pro version which as a usb-c port and feels and looks much better.

Hello Chad, Very sorry to hear about the issue you had with the driver update apparently breaking the G935 and making it function poorly. There are many ways that you could've troubleshooted the problem had you visited Logitech's website, but since you returned it then we hope that you found something better suited to your liking. Hope that you'll give Logitech G headsets another try in the future and thank you for being a Logitech customer. - Richard from Logitech

To me personally i have use wireless headsets for quite a while, by far one of my latest and favorites to add to the collection, ear cups are these really soft and smooth leather, has a strong clamping force so the 50m pro drivers wont be slipping off your head so easily.

Hello Kaleab, I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with your G935. It's very possible that you purchased an open box model of the mouse, meaning that it would have been used in the past. If you're still having battery issues, I would suggest you contact us via our support page for assistance and possibly warranty information. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Mic cuts out and the dongle has to be reconnected. The battery is glitchy too. If you go out of range, it sometimes won’t reconnect properly.

Horrible headset....the worst ever. We will be coming in to replace them with the original set we had even though in 1 year we had to exchange them twice...or 3 if you count getting these current ones. So if we are willing to get a set that has proven they are garbage....over this set....which still function..that’s saying a lot

    great sound

Ok let me start with stating that I love the sound on these. Its amazing. Will get to that later though. So first a few things that makes me give these a 4 star. One big one for me is the range. They say 66 feet or so about. However, I can’t go more than 25 feet away and they cut out and break up. Being a 2.4ghz system I would have thought they could go farther away. But that was not the case for me. The light configuration on these is not the best place. You have the logo on the sides and then on the back a light string on each cup. Its thin and hard enough to see let along on the back. So, if streaming for instance, stream can’t see. It is not wireless with Xbox on. Have to connect the 3.5mm cable still to the controller. One thing I don’t get on these also, is that there is a mic mute button on the back of the headset. I say this, because you can mute the mic just by lifting up the mic. So, it’s a double button. For me, I think they would have been better off adding a sound mute for the headset all together over having 2 mic mute options. As it stands, there is none for that other then to power them off. Which then can take a second or so. Or have made it so it would tell you the battery power or something. Just I feel it could have been something over muting mic. Feels a bit loose, when I lean forward, they want to slide off. If you want to stream, you have to get a third-party software on pc if you use a 2-pc system to stream as these do act like there own driver. Now for some reasons I enjoy these. Obviously the biggest being just the sound quality itself. I am 95% deaf in left ear and 50% in right. These are louder then my other headsets I have used and have. As well as the surround sound is great. I have a lot easier time knowing what direction things are happening from. They are wireless with pc, so that is nice to have. Just at least my set does not have range. Love that you can mute the mic from lifting it. And it has a red light on the mic to let you know when muted. The mic tip pulls out as well if you want. The mic is also not to bad being on a headset. And mic is not so long that it comes all the way around in front of mouth so can eat. Like that you do have 3 buttons to set up as you like. So, I chose to select one to go with my push to talk button so if I am not next to keyboard can still talk. The other is set to mute headset sound. And the last I kept as one of the defaults which is the surround sound. But will probably change later. I changed them because you can do the defaults thru the Logitech program. The defaults I changed where to change the color scheme and I believe to change how the sound comes thru. I like that the volume is a wheel. So, you just slide it up or down. I like that the usb part can be stored inside the earcup. And that the outside of earcups have a plastic magnet piece that comes off. This seems like something that in the future possibly can purchase replacement pieces with custom designs or colors. The charging cable is a good length so you can charge and use at the same time easily. The Logitech software allows a lot of customizations to be done and allows to easily sync with your other Logitech gear if you have. I love orange and its nice to set up my keyboard or mouse and then have everything sync with that. Overall, even with the few negative things I stated first, I like this headset so far, the best. I have had razor, and Sennheiser headsets for gaming as well as other headsets like Bose, Skull Candy’s etc. For me, sound is the most important, especially being deaf, and these are amazing in that category. If the range was farther (could be my set) then I would easily give 5 stars.

If you want to spend hours playing with am uncomfortable headset that requires constant readjustment, You can do it for a lot less money. I use a lot of Logitech products. After the G930 headsets the comfort, on headset controls and software have steadily gone down. It does have pretty lights, but who uses them in front of a mirror?

The headset was great for a few months, then sound suddenly started going out in one ear. When sound would come back it would go out in the other. Online resources point to bad build quality. For a price point like this I expect way better

Bought these headphones about 6 months ago. To make these headphones work, I had to go to Google and look for a solution to the problem there. About a 2 month ago, they started to disconnect. Very unpleasant sounds began to appear during the game. I do not recommend these headphones for purchase

Hello customer, I'm sorry to hear you've been having some connectivity issues with your G935 headset. It sounds like you could be having some issues with the connection between your computer and the receiver, so to prevent further issues, try plugging the receiver into a different USB port, and possibly make sure that the receiver is plugged all the way in and not jiggled loose a little.
