Sounds good with conversations or just basic voice recordings. Sounds better recording at 48khz over 44.1khz. The fact hat it connects via USB makes this it's own sound device. I wish for some EQ or compression to clean up vocal recordings.

I have verified that background noise is cancelled out, even right in my office (my cell phone rang right on my desk during a zoom meeting at highest volume and no one heard it!). I would only suggest that the mic be ajustable to allow it to be on the right. Currently the only option is to have it on the left.

The sound quality is amazing and the headphones will block out background noises. You can turn up the sound high and low and you get a wide range of volume. The only bad thing about this is not very comfortable. The headphones dig into your ears and it's hard to wear. Also the microphone is a little close your mouth so when you talk it's bit loud. Overall the price is very great and I would recommend you buy this headset.
