The mike is quite powerful and has overcome a great deal of ambient noise in a variety of settings. Ideal for teleconferences and video chats.

My speech wasn't as clear when just using the computer's microphone. Using these makes it easier for others to hear me.

This is a decent headset for the price. The sound quality of the headphones is adequate. The mic records a little too quiet from my experience but I was able to boost it with software. This headset comes equipped with an 8 foot long cable so you have plenty of room to move around and the button to mute the mic is convenient.
