I plugged in the headset and it works out of the box. It also works pretty good for the in between time for music listening, the sound quality isnt half bad.

Once because my kid broke them then another due to unknown failure with the mic. I'm glad I bought the protection plan. They are just a basic headset with a mic that works well as long as you take care of them. Nothing to really brag or complain about. If you're looking for a cheap headset for Skype or whatever and these are on sale, they're worth it.

I really like the noise canceling feature. I use this for transcription along with a voice recognition software that types as I repeat what I'm hearing on the recording, and it is such a time saver.

The sound is good both from the headphone side and the microphone side. It plugs into the USB port which makes it easy. I wish the microphone could switch sides (it's only on the left). The ear pads are soft and work for an hour or two but do get a little uncomfortable after wearing a long time.

Comfy for sensitive ears

Bought them because I have been working from home, just like everyone else. Unfortunately, I don't have the phone access I thought I would get, so I don't need them for the speaker/mic, however I use them to listen to podcasts, and I can listen to music during my day. Very comfy on my ears, which are very sensitive, they don't get sore at all.

The noise cancelling microphone does its job I guess. No complaints about my sound clarity. I listen to music on it sometimes. It is just fine for me in that capacity. Maybe some of you could appreciate the differrnce in a more expensive set, but I doubt I would notice a difference.
