Would recommend since it gets the job done and I haven’t had any issues. Literally just plug and play so if you desperately need a headset that can mute and raise/lower the volume, this is my recommendation.

Easy to use, just plug it in and it works with no trouble whatsoever. I've been using this headset for years and the only complaint is that it's a little flimsy if it gets any amount of pressure put on the sides.

Was a temporary replacement for a work headset. Volume is low so if you want powerful sound, you will not like it. The quality of sound is good though for the price.

Not as good as the old ones - Scratching noise

There is a lot of scratching noise running up the wire to the mic that the older version did not have. The wires are coated in a rough texture that adds to this. The wires are also thicker and less flexible, which may be leading to this too. The new version is distinguishable, because it does not have the silver logo on the sides... it is just black. The mute button is no longer silver either on the new ones. Also the new ones can be determined because they have a small usb plug... the older ones had a very large plug as if the electronics were built into the plug.

I do like that this was a deal for a mic/headset connecting via USB. Mic works very good.
