Just a waste of money. urgh

It is perfect for my needs and was very inexpensive. However, I would not recommend it for listening to music...or for use of more than about 45 minutes at a time since the earpieces are only moderately comfortable.

There is a lot of scratching noise running up the wire to the mic that the older version did not have. The wires are coated in a rough texture that adds to this. The wires are also thicker and less flexible, which may be leading to this too. The new version is distinguishable, because it does not have the silver logo on the sides... it is just black. The mute button is no longer silver either on the new ones. Also the new ones can be determined because they have a small usb plug... the older ones had a very large plug as if the electronics were built into the plug.
