Uncomfortable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is OK coming out of this pr of headphones, but the padding is uncomfortable. After about 30 minutes of wearing, I can barely stand it. I have to remove them. I even have a sore spot on my left ear that needs to heal. I won't be buying this unit ever again.

Excellent Headphones for Gaming!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these headphone to use while playing video games on my PC. So far, the headphones deliver high quality sound, and I don't have to go through the extra steps of turning on my speakers and subwoofer like I did with my much older headphones. These headphones are also extremely comfortable and allow for hours of wear. The volume control if a simple two-button system on the right side. I haven't had much need as of yet for the microphone, but when I recently used it, the other people online didn't seem to have a problem hearing me. The headphones connect via a simple plug-'n-play USB cord. The headphones are adjustable to fit for different sizes. I am happy that I ordered these and would order them again in the future. I have been using them for about two months now.

Pretty Good Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset does just what you would want. It allows good communication on internet calls. The sound quality is pretty good, especially since it is an on ear design. There is really good base support for listening to music. They are light weight and comfortable for short sessions. I have found them to "pinch" my left ear a bit after a while. This may only be an issue for me, as I can't tell. This is my first set of headphones that clamp the ear as apposed to having a pocket for the ear to reside in. They seem to be robust enough so far. The mute button and volume control is a nice bonus feature. So far, I am happy with them... (I've used them for about three weeks now.)

Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality is great. Cord is long enough. Fits comfortably. My only thing I would change is that the mute button might be farther from the volume or preferrably in the front or part of the cord for better visibility.

Issues with Cord and Volume/ Mute Button
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is comfortable to wear, and fits over the ears well, so that any noise around me in my surroundings is reduced or eliminated as much as possible. This headset meets that requirement. However, it would probably work better if it had a design where it cups around your ears by having the "Ear Drivers" recessed and then have padded material that would surround each "Ear Driver" or speaker. Good clear microphone. Yes, this definitely has that. People said I am crystal clear. A wired headset should have a longer cord. This device fails in that area. Cord length for the H540 is too short. Logitech, what were you thinking with this short cord? The headset cord is too thick, compared to other headsets, and this presents a problem. Even the slightest movement, if you move the cord around on your desk as you are talking (which I can't avoid, since I am always moving around when I am on the phone) this produces noise that is picked up in the headset. You will hear the cord thumping and moving around in the earpieces, as well as the mic picks up the cord noise thumping and moving around, this is very distracting. The cord should be insulated better so it doesn't produce noise in the actual headset. I would suspect if Logitech redesigned this headset with a thinner cord this probably would resolve most of the issue. The Volume and Mute buttons should not be on the headset, and should be put on the cord with controls for these functions. When you push the Volume/Mute buttons on the H540 headset, it causes so much noise in both the earpieces as well as it's picked up by the mic. Also, the red Mute Indicator on the cord is another design failure. Even if Logitech doesn't move the Volume/Mute controls on the cord, the Mute indicator is too close to the headset, and should be placed further away from the headset so that the light is easier to see. It's distracting to have to look down against my shirt, where the indicator light is, to see if I have muted/unmuted the headset. It would be much easier if I could glance down on my desk, to see the Mute Indicator. This Logitech could have been a good headset, if it didn't have all these flaws. I returned this headset a couple days later, and then after doing some research I found the Microsoft LX-6000 headset on Best Buy's website. Microsoft got everything right with their headset: 1. The Microsoft LX-6000 cord is definitely long enough 2. The cord is thinner and does not produce noise in the headset when it's moved around. 3. Mute and Volume Controls are on the wire, and not on the headset, and are far enough away from the headset where these controls are easily accessible and easy to see when the Mute button is activated If you're looking for a better headset, I'd recommend the Microsoft LX-6000. If you want to upgrade to a better Logitech wireless headset, I'd also recommend the Logitech H800 which also has Bluetooth. Logitech has made many good headsets, but this H540 is a disappointment, it has too many design failures. At the time of this review, the H540 is $50 USD. For the amount of money that Logitech is asking for this, it should be much better.

Comfort headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is lightweight and I can wear it for hours without any discomfort. The mic picks up decent noise when I'm on a meeting or calls on Teams. Let see how long it will last.

Logitech earphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Work as advertised. Comfortable to wear. Most of the times the little red light on the cord that is supposed to light-up when in use does not come on; in fact, it's ever come on only once, that was more confusing than if it never worked.

soso
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this when my last headset stopped working suddenly, (4 year old Microsoft headset). I work from home and do phone customer support so the headset is a vital piece of equipment for me. Firstly the sound is great and don't get too many complaints about the caller not hearing me. When I do it's most likely the vpn or phone software. My first of two complaints about the headset is that with the wire coming from the right ear doesn't suit me well since my computer is on the left an the weight of the wire pulls it off my head if I lean forward. 2nd is that the red light on the wire that indicates the mute button is pressed suddenly stopped after about a month of use, this making it hard to know it's muted until someone cannot hear me. Frankly i'd like the wire to be a little lighter weight, the volume/mute control on the wire rather then the ear piece and the ear piece to have more of a cup rather then flat.

Good for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They work well enough, although can become uncomfortable on my ears after wearing over an hour. I should probably have purchased the over ear ones. Otherwise, they work well, I can hear and others can hear me.
