Pretty good. Especially for the price. Had some people have issues hearing me sometimes at first, but after a turned off "adaptive sound level" on my computer and adjusted the mic boom to be close to my mouth, been pretty smooth sailing.

I am a Vlogger on YouTube and I use my Mac book Pro to edit my Videos. Unfortunately sometime's the speakers aren't as loud as I want them to be so I figured that I would go and pick up a headset. To my surprise these headphones so far have Great quality drivers. The have lots of bass which I love! I would call my self a die-hard Logitech owner. From wireless Keyboards and mice to Speakers and Webcams, I have always bought Logitech and will continuously buy their product's.

    Great and Affordable Headset

Before this I used Skull Candy Headphones, not really willing to buy anything over $50 and still not inclined to. I can't remember if they were priced down when I bought them but I asked an employee if they were better than skull candy because logitech is a good brand for tech. They said yes and said I could always return if I disliked the headset. Well, the sound quality is amazing compared to what I was used to. I also really like the fact that if you only want them as headphones the mic stub isn't in the way, which also has great recording quality. As headphones they sound amazing, as a headset it works great and blocks out a lot of unnecessary background noise that a lot of headsets leave in. Highly satisfied.

The headset is very comfortable over in the ear hearing aids. It has volume control on the headset which can be, in addition to, adjusted by your computer volume and your hearing aids in Tcoil or telephone switch mode.

    Economical computer headset

Pros: Easy to use controls, comfortable for wearing long durations, good sound quality/clarity, plug n play (USB) on my Mid-2011 Apple iMac. Cons: So, if you're moving around and the cord rubs up against your clothes or armrest or the edge of the table you will hear a distinct sound of plastic tapping a hard surface. Broke within the first year of use.

Best headset with microphone I ever had

I did some research on wireless headsets and since the wireless technology is still new I decided on purchasing these H540 headsets. As soon as I came home I plugged the USB and upon a fast install and a reboot I am speechless. It is the best headset I have ever owned. I am not really used to this quality, almost always found only on high end audio only headsets (without a microphone). I am very happy with them and glad I purchased them!

I bought this headset for my mom so she can talk to her friends on Skype and listen to music and YouTube without having to wake everyone up. I've tested this headset out and the audio is great and it's so simple to setup even a five year old can do it. The only thing I wasn't so sure about was that the mic boom is on the right side instead of the left which she is used to, but she's adjusted to that quickly. I definitely recommend this headset to anyone looking for a good headset with great sound.

    Room to improve this product.

This item does as it is intended. Sound quality is okay. Mike boom should be a little bit longer and the padding on the ears should be more substantial. Ear padding is not enough to keep from feeling the harder structures of the headphones after you've been wearing them for a bit. To summarize longer boom on the mic and thicker padding would definitely make these better product.

    Microphone is great

I use the headset to dictate into Dragon Naturally Speaking. the microphone picks up my voice very nicely even when a radio is playing in the next room, It seems to ignore outside noises well and Dragon's accuracy has increased thanks to this new microphone. The head set is fine for the first hour or so, but it can get a bit sweaty on the ears, but that is true for me with any headphone set

I periodically have to use Skype, Hangouts, GoToMeeting, etc for work and this has been a decent headset for my usage. Nothing fancy really, sound and mic quality have been fine for me, no complaints from anyone I've used this with.

I've found that it is comfortable enough to wear, but the cable is so heavy that it kind of pulls down the right side. Speaker quality is good. Mic quality is good.

Overall pretty good...but the cord drags it down

Logitech is my first "go-to" for accessories if they sell what I need. I had several of their headsets before this one. Mike has very good sensitivity (learn where the mute button is) and the speakers are plenty loud. Thank goodness it has a small USB plug. My first Logitech headset has a huge plug that stressed the laptop USB port to the point the port doesn't make a solid connection. Like others have said, the plastic has a cheapish feel and the glossiness doesn't help , but I can live with it. The mic boom only goes down on the right side, bummer because my USB port is on my left, but I can live with it. That said, the cord is very thick, as people have mentioned and it retains all the kinks from when it was new...a year ago. It will knock things over and off your desk if it brushes against it. Always twisted up. The only plus about the cord is that it might have a fighting chance if my wife vacuums it up like my last one.

Great for WebEx and voice recognition software

I work primarily from home and I conduct and attend many WebEx presentations. I have tried 3-4 headsets and the Logitech H540 has the best microphone sound quality. Other products resulted in people not being able to understand what I was saying. I also use voice recognition software to write emails, and Word documents. This headset is the best quality for both uses at a reasonable price point.

I bought these to use with my VoIP work setup. They're more comfortable than most and the sound quality is pretty clear. I plugged them in and they worked without a problem. The issue I have with these is that the mic cable isn't shielded well enough. When on a call if the cable rubs against "anything" (shirt, zipper on a jacket, etc...) it comes through loud and clear on the mic. I've been on several conference calls where people have asked me to mute my line because it becomes distracting. If it wasn't for the mic cable issue these would be rated higher.
