I was directed to two places in the store looking for and headsets with a mike boom. This one fills my minimum requirements there were only two USB headsets compatible with Macintosh. The two USB headsets differed in that one had two earpieces the other had only one. In the gamers section they had both Bluetooth which I would have preferred and a cable. I told the clerk I was looking to use it with a Macintosh. He recommended a couple. I chose one with a cable assuming it was USB. When I got home I found it was an audio plug not USB i.e. not compatible with a newer Macintosh. I brought it back the same day and discovered there were no headsets with USB in the gamer's section. So I only had two choices.

Great for Skype and gaming

I can easily tune out my husband and the tv and focus on working. I do have problems with connectivity sometimes with my work computer but that could be the system.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything works well, only tricky part is when you remove the USB cord from the computer (Windows 8) the sound is messed up. Can't plug it back in and hear and the speakers don't work. I've had to shut down or search for audio troubleshooting and it corrects it automatically. I doubt this is a problem with the device, more likely a Windows 8 problem and it is correctable (and preventable).
