The microphone quality is poor and sometimes the left or right ear goes out.

Bad headset

My $10 old headset has a better noise canceling mic and the sound is really weird, even when the cable is moving against my desk I can hear it loud in my ears.

Posted .Hi Adriana I'm sorry that you did not like the overall performance of the H540. I'm sorry that the noise cancelling mic feature was not as good as your previous model. Its important to recognize that the H540 has bi-directional mic which means there are some sensors on both sides. If your old headset mic does not have that then it would not pick up background noise. I hope that you are able to find a headset that works best for you. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. Would not recommend

There very little padding around the ear area. I would not recommend this headset out all. Unfortunately it is too late for me to return for a refund.

Cord is too short

Not worth it

I tried recording on-screen videos, and there was an echo. I used it to call my wife, and she could hear an echo too. I tried adjusting the input settings on my Mac, but that didn't help.

Posted .Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the H540 headset. I'm sorry to hear that your headset isn't working for your setup. The headset does have on-board controls to mute the microphone... just wanted to make sure that it is not muted. Also, occasionally on a Mac, you will have to specify which device you want to use for audio. Go into the audio settings and make sure the output and input devices are set to the H540 USB headset. If neither of these solutions works for you, please exchange the headset for another one.

unsatisfied with mic

Speaker kept disconnecting

Everyone I spoke with complained. They are in the trash can waiting to be sent to the dump. Money wasted.
