Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely long battery life, I can sit in a virtual training classroom for work for 4 hours, go to lunch for 45 minutes and let it charge, come back for another 4 hours and then after that game online with it for several hours without ever even getting a low battery warning. This headset is VERY comfortable as well. I have a large head, and headsets tend to squeeze my ears into the side of my head, and eventually it starts to hurt. These are a dream to wear all day. They do not obnoxiously cancel out every other sound in the room, I dont feel like I'm wearing a space helmet the way the sound gets distorted from some of the other noise canceling headsets. Good range, I can walk around the room with no static or signal loss. Signal starts to break a little as I go about 20ft away, or go downstairs.

Good for VoIP conference calls
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had an earlier version of this headset for a couple of years and it was good so when it died I got the upgrade. One thing they forgot was to include a storage location for the USB nub. My older one I could tuck it into the headset for storage. I am on the phone constantly all day so I use more than one headset. Battery life is still an issue.

Inexpensive Zoom meeting headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the last 5 years, the instructors in our college have been using the previous model. (I still use my old model at home even though the foam earpads are disintegrating with age). The new model has great sound and range and can connect via USB or Bluetooth. Great value.

Good all around value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a good headset to replace an older Logitech wired headset. I tend to be budget and wasn't looking for anything fancy, but was expecting to pay above this price point for a decent wireless headset. A few unexpected PROs: hide away mic, Bluetooth and nano wireless capability, extended bluetooth capabilities, and foldable ear pieces. The sound is better than average, and its comfort level is high.

Wireless is so nice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. I've been using them for a couple weeks. Clear sound and they're comfortable. It's so nice to be able to get up and walk around. No more wires to run over with my chair. I wish it had more battery life than 6 hours, but I just hook them up to the usb cord to charge at various times of the day. I also bought the extended warranty.

Great quality, but needs to ditch the nib
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I agreed with all the pro's from previous reviewers. Great audio quality, it's wireless, etc. Why, however, does this have to connect to an inserted USB nib? (I'm calling it a nib; I'm not sure what the right name is.) If you lose the nib (my two year old pulled it out of my computer and I have not seen it recently), then you're hurting. I'm not sure what to do about this. But it seems like the design itself is uncessary; my laptop has wireless access, but not bluetooth. Why can't the headphones just wirelessly connect to my laptop and scrap the hassle of (a) occupying a precious USB port and (b) avoid the prospect of rendering the headphones almost useless?

Easy to use, decent sound quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally don't write reviews, but i'm extremely happy with these headphones. USB is plug & play, bluetooth is easy to sync with my iphone. Controls on the headset work well and are responsive. From my the headphones, I can switch from OFF to Bluetooth, push play on headphones and listen to my music immediately. I can adjust my volume and search songs that are on my current playlist. Just a switch to the USB and I'm on my PC. Only two issues which I find minor. Sometimes the sound isnt all that great, but 99% of the time the sound is fine. And if I want to use my computer speakers, I basically have to pull the USB out of the computer. To me, those are minor issues though.

Excellent Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these headphones after reading the reviews of these and the one price step down from these. I use these almost everyday with my laptop to either watch movies or listen to music while I cook, clean, or do homework. I set up my laptop with a movie that I can glance at while working in the kitchen, and I can hear beautifully over the dishwasher, clothes washer, and dryer (all running at the same time). I can also listen to what I want, as loud as I want, as late as I want, without bothering my apartment building neighbors. I love these. They are also very comfortable to wear, unlike having buds stuffed into your ear canals.

My first one may have been a lemon
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my second one. I bought the first from best buy and had problems right away. The right ear unit would crackle and it finally stopped taking a charge. The range that was advertised as up to 40 feet, was limited to the bedroom my computer was in. if I walked out of the room at all I lost reception completely, and this was only 10 feet!. I returned it and complained to the manufacturer about the quality of their product. They apologized and said I might of got a refurbished one ore one that had been damaged in transit to the store. I then ordered another online and it is working great. I did have to buy a USB extension and run the receiver to the doorway to get the advertised range, an extra $30 expense, but so far no complaints! If not for the earlier problems and the extra cost to get the range to wander my own apartment, this would be a 5 star product.

Good headset, decent battery life.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset was purchased due to my need for remote education classed requiring the use of VoIP through my PC. Sounds and microphone quality were great, distance was also pretty good. I was able to go from my basement up to my kitchen and not completely drop signal.

Great Hdset, extremely lightweight & comfortable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great headset. On ear model allows the wearer to pick up nearby conversations if someone is trying to talk to you. Not so with over ear headsets. I've connected to five devices so far. The bad news is it only works with one device at a time. All others have to be turned off. Sound quality is outstanding. Battery life at 6 hours is a big minus. I would prefer a headset just like this one with a longer battery life and able to connect to a couple of devices at one time.

Pricey for a Short Battery Life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the headset for work & because I needed more range pass my office while still connected to my customers; however, I find myself charging it after about 6 hours. I returned the H600 that had a longer battery life, but so much static if I left my office area to buy this H800, which was more, but shorter battery life. Not sure why I'm paying more for less battery life. I work 8 hours a day. I have another headset that connects to my phone when I workout or watch movies or online, and I use it every day but charge it every 4 days or so. The problem I have is that I need a hardwire (usb) capability per my job requirement- so I can't activate the Bluetooth in which I can find in a dozen other headsets that are cheaper with longer battery life. ??? Disappointed- they should at least matched the battery life they did with a their lower model, H600 or at least allow it to last a day, 12 hours.

No Microphone Volume
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new microphone for tutorials. I decided to fork out a few more bucks to get the H800 over the H540 since it was wireless and it had bluetooth so it could double as my phone headset. I'm using Windows 7 and the initial setup was painless. The headphone portion worked immediately and the sound from the initial music I played was ok. I got the microphone working but something was amiss right away. It didn't look like I was getting enough volume. The quality of the recording was excellent but it seemed like I had to turn up my speakers to hear what I recorded. Long story short, I scoured the web. Found a couple user with the same issue who contacted Logitech and their support was totally clueless. I played with every setting I could find. I plugged the dongle into different usb ports including the front of the computer like a FAQ suggested. Nothing worked. I just thought maybe it was me until I went into a meeting with my laptop and played a video. You could barely hear me when you were sitting next to me. I came home, plugged in my old Plantronics usb headset and looked at the results. Whereas the Plantronics spiked the meter continuously in the high 80%, the Logitech couldn't get much past 10-15%. It wasn't my imagination. I packed it up, returned it and got the H540. Got that home and OMG. Better headset build, the recording is just as good and the Volume! I only have it recording at 40% so I don't spike my meter. The other thing that bothered me a lot when I was looking at the boxes on the shelf. This microphone uses a pure foam ear cup. That's what my Plantronics used and it disentegrated after several years. Plus it doesn't breathe so it's hot. The cheaper H540 uses some vinyl or leather over the foam so it's much nicer. Weird. I used it for my headset for my Samsung Galaxy S III. The sound was kind of tinny and seemed to have some slight reverb (if that's the right word). It sounded like the caller was talking through a can. They heard me perfectly so no problem on the outgoing but the incoming sound was not that great. So buyer beware on this one. Hopefully it works for you.

Excellent Low Cost Cordless VOIP Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a comfortable cordless headset to connect to my laptop; this unit is fantastic. It works with Bluetooth built-in to my laptop, or I can use the USB dongle if the Bluetooth doesn't work or is unavailable on a given machine. For the cost, it is a solid unit that I highly recommend. The only criticism that I can place on this unit is that the dingle doesn't have a slit to store with the headset itself when transporting, so it need be kept on your person or connected to the intended machine of use. I travel and would have preferred that it be like Microsoft mouse I have where I am able to store the USB dongle in the mouse itself.

Comfy, works, simple
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have found the battery to be quite sufficient, I bought these because my dtr used to pull on the cord to my old headset. I use this headset for when I need to use the computer while my family is using the tv, as we are in the same room. It works great and the sound it loud enough but occasionally when the room is a bit loud, I find the sound won't go quite loud enough. Other than that I have found no issues with the connection and I love the fact that I can switch on bluetooth to make the headset work with my phone!

Read me first!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I learn my lesson well because I did not read the 1 star Customer Reviews! The Bluetooth function it's broken in 24 days! I used all the phone try to connect it, it have power on, USB wireless headset working, but not the Bluetooth with any phone! This is the worst one I have ever purchased. It was on sale so I thought I would give it a try. when I bought this item the salesmen he say I have 30 days to exchange or refund. I try to bring it back she say only 15 days! she say I have to buy the insurance for $20 at first but it was too late now! And have to call the manufacturer?! I rarely leave bad reviews on any product I buy but this has been a huge hassle since I purchased this headset. so please help yourself read before you buy! Read the 1 Star first!
