Excellent for video conferencing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this headset for work where we often use video conferencing. The sound and mic are clear. I can still hear nearby noises while also clearly hearing what I am listening to. So, it is not totally noise blocking, but it does reduce the noise significantly. The ear covers swivel nicely and the foam is comfortable. There is a cushion under the headband, too. The switch on the wireless headset makes it easy to switch between my paired devices, to mute, or to adjust the volume. I highly recommend this headset.

Works Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent sound quality. Noise cancelling mic works well, though subject to vibration noise if in direct wind. Collapses for convenient storage/travel. Answer/Play, Hang-up/Stop, volume up and down, skip forward and back buttons. My only complaint is that the power indicator could do a better job of indicating remaining battery life.

Good perfromance and versatility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I like the fact that the headset is blutooth and usb capable. Not all my devices are blutooth capable so having the nano receiver option really expands the number of devices the unit will work with. Logitech conveniently provides a storage compartment for the receiver so you always have it if you need it. Very nice. Pairing is quite simple and I quickly had it paired with both my cell phone and my PS3. When playing MP3s from my phone, the headset sounds quite nice and had plenty of volume. I already own a S9 rocker stereo blutooth headset and I found the logitech unit to outperform it in several areas. I found the sound to be better while the S9 focuses on compact size. Reception on the logitech was quite impressive as I could leave my phone in my basement and listen to music on the second story. Yes, that is through 2 floors (likely depends partly on the performance of your blutooth devices transmitter power. I was using an LG Rumor Touch). I didn't do a range test outdoors but I am sure it will be equally impressive. It is adjustable and comfortable to wear, even for my big noggin, for long periods while working or playing. The battery life is also superior. I can play music for hours before charging is necessary. I also like the fact that cell call audio, while possibly mono, still plays on both speakers. My S9 goes drops to one speaker in call mode and on the PS3. One thing that can vary from headset to headset is how it pairs with the PS3. Some require you to manually go in and connect each time to the PS3, while others connect up automatically after the initial pairing process. This is probably mostly due to the firmware in the headset but it is easy to understand why automatic is the best. The PS3 blutooth apparently differs from cell phones, so the power up linking after the devices are paired can change for the PS3 for some reason, while all my devices seem to link automatically with my phone. This headset does automatically link with the PS3 when the headset is turned on, which is nice. Just like any headset, if you have been using it with one device and switch to another device, you have to refresh the link the first time you link the devices again. From that point, it will automatically link with that device until you link it to another paired device. The second way to connect this headset, via the usb, is plug and play. Your usb equipped device will automatically install the driver once you insert the receiver, and you will be listening in less than a minute. The only difference is operation from one to the other is that the power selector needs to be in usb mode instead of blutooth mode. Easy peezy. The sound quality between modes sounds equally good having good bass response and dynamic range. Just keep in mind that these are under a $100 bucks and wireless and should not be compared to a high end audiophile grade plug in headset. In closing, I find this headset to be an excellent performer for the price and feel it would be excellent for most users. Like the majority of logitech devices, the performance, price, and quality are always top notch and I highly recommend this headset.

Absolutely excellent product!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Usually when you go into an electronics store, be it Best Buy or any other, and you ask about Bluetooth headsets, they first want to take you to the phone section. After correcting that you mean a flat against, on, or over-the-ear stereo model for a computer they take you to Stereo and Gaming headsets. The Logitech H800, in at least two main stores, including Best Buy, sits in neither location but a 3rd - a Logitech end cap - where it is mostly overlooked and strangely not even thought of or referenced by the sales staff. And yet, it is reasonably priced, very light weight and comfortable, comes with its own supplied computer dongle and pairs easily with it and cell phones both. The pad against your ears is flat, soft, and comfortable and the quality of sound is not only excellent but really has to be heard to be believed . . . with surprisingly little sound leakage unless you have it blaring. While definitely not for heavy metal, grunge, or punk band listening, it has excellent music playing properties with all the base I care to listen to - heavy base lovers go elsewhere. And the quality of sound over phone or Skype is the best you can find anywhere north of $500. You get quality sound in and out without ever feeling you have much perched on top of your head and I have received a few complimentary comments on the sleek style of the unit. The "ever-so-slim tilting forward from headset boom mike" leaves you comfortable knowing people around you can see that your speaking into a communications headset and not merely off your medication or Schizophrenic . . . and they would fall in love with this headset too !!! Get the H800 with Bluetooth and comfy headband padding that "also" pairs with cell phones "not" the 600 model . . . You want the H800 by Logitech.

Great Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, first all of the good. The headset is easy to set up and use. It has very clear sound/good range. It has pretty good range (distance) as well. I used it with my phone and my old laptop. Additionally, it charges really quick and the charge lasts for quite a long time. Very lightweight and comfortable to wear as well. The only downside (pretty big actually). It does not work with windows 8/8.1 currently. So, I tried to use it with my new computer, and it wouldn't recognize it. Of course, when I actually went to the website for support, it stated that. So, I couldn't mark it down since it provided what it said it was supposed to provide. Great headset. I would definitely recommend unless you're using windows 8/8.1.

Great Headset - clear tone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset as an upgrade to an earlier model that did not have bluetooth capability. Bluetooth works fantastic with my Samsung Smart phone and with a flip of a switch can convert to a wireless headset to be used with my laptop for listening via a mini nano receiver that plugs into the usb port. Good sound quality. Once charged it will last for several hours of non stop use. The older model had a slot built into the headset to transport the nano receiver. This one does NOT. Love the fact that there are no wires to deal with. Listening or talking capability is about 30 ft. from the source (maximum).

Great value for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these! I had an H600 headset before that I left on and the battery died and wouldn't recharge. While the H800 doesn't have an auto-shutoff, it does have a replaceable/rechargeable battery. The headband has better padding and the H800 has Bluetooth as well as wireless (via nano USB). The sound quality is great for this price range,

Great! Works perfectly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having both bluetooth and USB dongle hookups means I can use the phones on my iPad, iPhone or laptop while traveling (I travel with all 3 and use them for different meetings, etc.) then when I return home I can switch seamlessly to my desktop PC and still have my other devices connected as well. The phones are comfortable and work great on Skype WebEX and other video conferencing software, and they are also nice and light.

Amazing sound, weighs nothing and comfy as heck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't know that wireless had gotten this good. Was tired of twisted and broken cables so I gave it a shot. Bottom line, it is ridiculously light weight, comfortable to the point you may walk out of the house with them on (almost), and the sound quality is stunning (this coming from a guy with a $30k home stereo). Battery life is about 6 hours, but I wish it had hot swap batteries and an external charger for marathon gaming days. But if you are looking for a headset and you play less than 6 hours at a clip, then this is really a no brainer. I can't imagine anything surpassing this headset.

Worth the little extra
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these for my son who uses them mainly for his on-line gaming. Comfortable and great sound quality. I like the additional feature of being able to link a cell phone with bluetooth.

Perfect for Zoom meetings
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I teach live online classes for a major state university. Because my students are located at three campuses hundreds of miles apart, I teach using Zoom Meetings. I needed headphones that I could use at home, so other family members would not be listening in, and with a microphone that would transmit my voice clearly but would NOT pick up ambient noise. This headset is perfect for that. The earphones have great sound quality, and I have been told that my voice is picked up well without extraneous background noise. These are bluetooth connected to my computer, so I can get up and move without snagging a cord during 90 minute class sessions. The battery charges through a USB port and lasts for hours on a single charge. They are lightweight and comfortable, with no excess pressure on my ears and padded on the top bar. The two earphones fold inward and the mike boom folds up out of the way for compact storage. There are large volume controls and a mute button on the right headphone case. There is also a USB plug that stows inside the left earphone case that can be plugged into the computer as an alternative to bluetooth, similar to the USB plug that connects my Logitech mouse.

Great Multi function headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually got this Headstart for multiple reasons. 1. It was ranked as one of the best headsets on Dragon speech is website . Also unlike its counterpart H600. It gave me the ability to also answer mys it gave me the ability to also answer my cellphone. Then you add in the fact that you can fold them up and bring them with you . Then you add in the price point :)

Easy setup and use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Charged it up first. Switched it on near computer and it found 'device' and installed the drivers automatically. Ear piece controls work perfect and from others they say the voice they hear when I'm speaking is loud and clear. It says 40' range, and I've heard others complain about moving to another room and dropping off or temporarily losing contact. I've had this at 40+ feet without issue. Solid product and great value when on sale.

Quality and Value with minor annoyance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really pleased with this headset - works great, is very comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. I just wish they would come up with a better way of switching from speakers to headset. Haven't tried this on Win 10, but on Win 7 you have to make it the default speaker when you want to use it and then set the speakers back as the default. But this is a minor annoyance in view of all the other positives.
