Bought this as a backup since my other two are aging. What a great remote to prevent having 4 to work TV.

Works quite well - consolidating all my devices - an Onkyo surround receiver, LG TV and a Panasonic BR device.

All your remotes in one. The Harmony 665 is easy to program. I also use two Harmony 650s and a 700 in other rooms.

Logitech harmony 665: I hate to take the time to write reviews (so I don't normally) but maybe this one will save some people a lot of time, $, and hassle. I bought this to operate a TV, Tivo, VHS tape deck, Bluray, FireStick, and HDMI switch. DOES NOT WORK WITH FIRESTICK NOR HDMI SWITCH !!! (They use RF remotes. This Logitech remote uses IR ONLY. But the package says nothing about that important limitation except in very small print on the back (package contents listed as "IR-based remote control"). Most remotes that do not work with FireStick SAY SO on the front of the package. The package was billed as "easy-open" but it was NOT. The back flap pulls open but, to get the device and parts out, you must destroy the package and cut yourself in the process. The setup is time-consuming and tedious. You have to get the model #s of every device you want to control, determine the input setting for each device (input and output), download the setup program to your PC, set up an account at Logitech, and then go thru the program and set the complete set of options for every device. The program says 45 minutes; took me 2 hrs. This would be tolerable IF the device worked, but it is inconsistent (some controls work, some don't. Help is offered if buttons do not work (a CLUE!) but the help is unclear. The display screen and "soft buttons" are cryptic and not labeled well. The shape is very awkward. It is flat in the upper half and when trying to press the upper buttons it slips out of your hand. When you hold it to see the screen while you press buttons, it says you must point it at the TV (or target device), and you must KEEP it pointed there while each of the devices are being signaled in turn, but you don't know how long that is for each device, so if you move it too soon, it doesn't control that device! I am VERY disappointed in this Logitech product. It is very poorly designed. It's not much better than a no-brand item from China (as far as functionality). It is apparently designed almost exclusively for the user to choose a task (Watch TV, Watch Movie, Listen to Music) rather than as a true controller for the various functions of a device. The instructions are TERRIBLE for how to actually USE the thing. The construction and materials seem good but the DESIGN is TERRIBLE in SO many ways. I'm glad I bought it at a store (vs online) so I can take it back rather than the hassle of requesting an RMA and then mailing it back.

Very nice all-inclusive remote. I had a Geek Squad tech set it up. I don't think I could have done it myself.

the best harmony by far the #665 and getting the programming with it

The old Harmony we had was having issues after 10 years. Brought this one home, transferred the settings - easy Peesy! Works like a champ!
