    Stay away from this remote. I thought setting this up would be a breeze with over a decade of tech support experience. I will break down why this thing is hot garbage after spending hours troubleshooting trying to set this up: 1. You have to download software to program the remote, OK I understand. But in order to use the software you need to either sign in with Google, Facebook or create a Logitech account. I see no need for that for a simple remote such as this. 2. The software see's the remote, but when going through the steps the software freezes at the point for setting up activities. The software seems to be running. but none of the buttons are clickable. There is nothing to tell you that anything is happening such as loading the settings onto the remote control, no progress bar, nothing. If you click on anything, nothing responds. I've left he window open for over an hour thinking it was programming the remote, nothing. The remote only displays "USB connected" which tells you nothing. I also tried different USB ports, running the software as administrator, etc, putting the remote in safe mode. Nothing worked. 3. The Logitech support website is absolutely abysmal. You are in the products support page, but any links you click on in the support area makes you start over, making you select your product model over again. Who thought that would be a good idea? Based on this experience I will be staying away from anything Logitech and advising anyone else to do the same. I will be returning this piece of garbage immediately.
