I have an older Samsung TV with no remote, and a Roku. I was hoping to get a remote that could control both without a lot of fuss. In theory this remote could do the job. When I received it, it took me significant time to set it up (at least an hour). It requires either a computer or an app to set up. While the user interface to set it up appears nice and polished, it suffers from an overly complex design, is cumbersome, and it takes a long time to accomplish anything. After much struggling, I was able to get the remote to work to an extent. It could control the TV and the Roku, but not really at the same time. For example, if I'm watching Roku and wanted to adjust the volume, I had to awkwardly switch the control to the TV device, and then to control the Roku I had to switch to the Roku device. After struggling with it for hours, and multiple messages on the Logitech forums, I gave up. I am not stupid. I can usually figure out technology. But not this remote. I found a competing product that was half the price and that I was able to get working in less than 30 minutes (and without an app or computer hookup.)

Had a hard time syncing it up to my television. Not good for someone that is not electronic savvy.

Difficult to find buttons compared to other remotes. Discovered I only use on and off mostly. Not really worth it.

Remote works great for Apple tv and Samsung HD TV.

Replaced with a older model. I set up using the setting has my old remote. Easy transfer of commands..

It’s easy to take for granted that when you hit a button on your remote control that the intended function will happen. With this remote you will find that assumption tested to all reasonable limits. Put simply I have found that remote requires multiple presses of a button to get anything to happen. I have found 4 to be the average but my record was 22. Or if you take a pause between pressing buttons in excess of 2 seconds that will work also. Frustratingly holding a button does not have the effect of repeating the signal as in normal remote controls. Usually if you hold the volume down button the volume will go down continually. With this remote it will give a single command and no more. The ability to code almost any electronics to this remote is a wonderful thing. The drawback of not being able to accurately control the devices though is a back breaker in my opinion. I do not recommend this remote.

I bought this to replace multiple remotes. It just didn’t work the way I needed it.

Purchased to upgrade my previous Logitech Harmony 550.

My last two (silver colored) lasted 2 years and 6 months respectively and had to be replaced. Am hoping for better luck with the new, all black one.

Seemed like a good product but for some reason it would not work with my system.

I returned this product. Not because it was a bad product rather I had another remote that worked.

This was not used very much and the bottons to Change channels started to not work very well. That is the reaso we repacked to the old one

Easily transfers settings from an old Logitech remote

This remote works like a remote should work, the only issue I had is it is not the easiest to set up and program.

I loved the logitech one series of remotes. After that everything has gotten way too complicated. Trying to change from one device or activity is a real pain the neck, especially when working with a smart tv. It is all very complicated, and there are too many steps. The new program also sucks eggs. The old program was much better. I thought it would have gotten easier to set up and use, NOT MORE DIFFICULT.
