Very unresponsive

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Was able to program (sorta) my sharp tv, chromecast, Directv, and Polk sound at but must use help every time as Polk has two “tv” settings and no way to differentiate so must send request twice. Overall buttons are very non responsive and must be pushed hard to register. Remote must be pointed directly at devices from relatively close distance. Would not buy again

Posted .Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with your Harmony 665. The 665 is what's called an IR, or infrared signal, meaning it requires direct line of sight to the device in order to send the signal through. If you have your devices in some kind of media center or cabinet, this may interfere with the remotes ability to send commands. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Why does a remote need my personal info?

The “one button” set up requires you to download an app, register your information and allow Logi to track your activity habits. A lot of missing fine print from their ad. You shouldnt need to sell your personal info just to use a remote. If you dont mind giving away info then this works for you, but I wont recommend it.

Unable to program for Watch TV

I am currently unable to program Watch TV activity. I spent an hour a couple of days ago with a person from Harmony Support. I thought we had it. But when I went to try again after the support person hung up, it still would not operate to turn the necessary features on to watch our new Sony Atmos system. I continue to try but to know avail.

Not compatible with quite a few items

You might be able to do better

The main button to select OK is the smallest button on the remote! I have to use my fingernail to push it otherwise I select something else with my big thumb. What a hassle. It seems the person who designed this remote didn't actually use it for anything first.

Eats batteries
