||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very disappointed with this unit. I have owned two of the older Harmony units for years without a single complaint. This unit broke within a week after being programmed and starting being used.

Posted .Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with the Harmony 665 remote. I'm sorry that the unit did not last and broke after a short period of time. No Harmony here-trash

First of all, it loses track of when a tv is powered on or off. You constantly have to press the help button. Cool thing is you can customize which buttons performs which task. I programmed a button to go straight to the ps4 input. When i press it, it powers the tv off. Really? I dont like the remote. You end up fiddling with it too much. NOT RECOMMENDED

Still having issues.

Had geek out still issues.does not at times want to turn tv off.have to go to help menue.think we might have to go back to comcast remote. Ashame because we paid bout 50.00 for it.

Meh!!

Was messing my originals

That remote tried to write its own sequence and messed up my original remotes. I had to reset my original remotes.

Not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this remote as part of a deal for purchasing a 4k Blu-ray player. I took the time to program it, but almost everyone I used it something didn't work as it should and I had to run through the help diagnostic to get everything to work properly. This feature worked well, but you would think a smart remote would make note and adjust how it works so that your don't have to do this every time you use the same feature. It never learned! Then it just stopped working after 2 weeks. I went back to using my 3 individual remotes and have been much happier.

Not completely satisfied

The first one lasted for years and is still working. The new one has an issue with the charging port, so unusable. Having a very hard time getting help with it.

Not for new vizo TVs

The power button will not work with an activity. Only the power toggle function works and the inputs are NEVER correct. Other than that it's very cool.

Can't Program with Apple

Waste of Money

However, it keeps loosing connection to the tv. To reset the connection I have left connect the remote to my computer. Too much hassle to turn a channel.

Terrible remote

Buttons are difficult to use as they do not push in a smooth fashion while changing channels or switching from TV to Fire Stick. I get different readings on the panel for what should be an easy procedure. The sound bar switches off at will and is difficult to get back to operating correctly. I would much rather switch to using the 3 separate remotes and to know what is going to happen when expected. This in no way satisfies my expected performance of an universal remote.

Not very easy to use on a daily basis. It is not very easy to move between sources. It gets into program mode easily and that is a pain to get it out of it.

Waste of $100...

It will not switch the inputs properly. For whatever reason, the Harmony 650 which I bought on clearance for around $50 a few years ago controls the same insignia tv without issue but the 665 will not work. A waste of $100. I will never buy another product from this company again. Do not purchase this if you have an Insignia TV and need to switch inputs on it.

Tough to set up

It needs improvement

Beware

We have an older DVD that would not connect. These units don't work with everything. Thankfully the Geek Squad was terribly honest with us as to what would & wouldn't work with our system. My advice, talk to the Geek Squad when putting a system together.

The reason it couldn't connect to your DVD player is that it's possible the device is older or Logitech hasn't had the chance to update the software to include the necessary codes for it to work. Poor durability

The buttons always wear out. Thank God for the Geek Squad plan to just get it replaced quickly.

Won't work on battery power

At first, these worked fine and were a good all in one. However, the first remote kept going through the set up screen. I thought I needed to change batteries but changing batteries didn't help. Now I have to plug the remote into a power outlet for it to function. Today, the second one would go through the set up screen every time I would use the volume keys. Changing batteries didn't help and now it only functions when it's plugged into the wall outlet. Save your money.
