    It is cumbersome and not user friendly with too many buttons not clear on the button panel.

    Does not play well with a Vizio TV. Has trouble telling TV whether we want to watch Amazon, Netflix, or dvd player. Does not sync well with PC - I have to repeatedly hit sync button until software finally wakes up and syncs. Software sometimes freezes up on PC and have to close with ctrl-alt-del. Setting this up on a Vizio tv should have be a trivial exercise. Definitely would not purchase again.

    We have had four - and counting - Geek squad visits for the two remotes we own; so it's hard to say whether the problem is with the universal remote or the Geek Squad. It seems difficult to program; two of the Geeks on the Squad claimed it needed to be reprogrammed. I feel like we've been gaslighted on the amount of equipment we were sold, and the reliability!

    It is a difficult remote to use. The Geek Squad was unable to get it set up to work like my previous Logitech after two hours. They are coming back again to see if they can correct. The first visit they were able to set up a work around so I can use it. It does not pick up my cable box when you press play TV.

    Apparently, I didn’t do enough research on this remote. You have to have a computer to set it up and the process is glitchy. Currently, this remote is now a useless paperweight as I can’t use it. Apparently, I don’t have the criteria one needs to set it up. (I am savvy, by the way). No remote should be this complicated.

    These remotes are garbage I am glade this discounted them they break all the time this one lasted no longer then 2 months I have been thru about 4-5 of them in the last 3 years I have one more new one I can only hope that one last long enough for me to find I replacement

    This remote is ok I bought it because it has a screen but you always have to reboot the remote and sometimes it's slow on doing its commands

    So far this does not hold up to the 2 previous 650's I had. it doesn't like Direct TV or my Marantz receiver

      Hi King, I am not sure why this 665 would be working any different than your others as they are programmed with the Harmony software and your account. Connect it to your computer and use the Harmony software to ensure a proper setup of devices and activities.     I bought this remote because I was told that it would meet my needs. Extra channels, pre installed surround, etc. I am waiting for the person from the Geek Squad to find time to come and show me how to use it. He is covering for persons that are sick, on vacation etc. and hasn’t had time to come yet. I will be happy to write a real review when I can be using my new remote. Marsha

    Not what I would consider a "state of the art" remote. Does not have voice recognition or quick links to Netflix, etc. Can be confusing. Also requires "line of sight" to work. Not radio frequency which does not require line of sight.

    Doesn’t work 1/4 of the time have to press to many buttons to get to where you want to go to .

    I have tried to use this remote several times to no avail. I used my desk computer and my Note Book Computer and download the appropriate program and followed the instruction to no avail. The remote seems to be DEAD. I am not sure if I can take it to my local Best Buy and exchange it or get a refund. I would sure like to know what my options are.

      Hi sorry to see you're having some performance related issues with your Harmony 665 Remote. Depending on when you purchased the item, you do have a standard14 days return policy with Best Buy. Since the remote seems to be malfunctioning, they will definitely do an exchange or return for you if you choose. Hope that helps.

    Serial Number is Invalid!

    Installed the MyHarmony software on a Mac laptop and a Windows desktop, as soon as the remote is connected to program, an error pops up; 'Your remote's serial number is invalid. Please contact customer support. [HP1002]' Logitech's phone support said that the remote is defective. I'm currently waiting on a replacement from Best Buy.
