This is a really very impressive remote for the price point that i have seen other remotes with less features. The setup is very easy if you follow the on screen (Computer) instructions. Adding Favorite Channels and special functions was easy to do and had no issues. The remote has a nice feel and nice clean look. It even supports remotes for items that are (No Name) Devices. I did not have one remote I could not program. Even able to program my Fan and A/C. This is really a great product and would highly recommend. No more 9 Remotes trying to find the right one. All in 1 remote makes life so simple. You can even change the back light time to a shorter time to help conserve battery life. You can even turn off the help feature and the tilt to activate back light feature to save even more battery use. So impressed i went and bought a 2nd one so i have one on each side of the room. It even knows all the cable box commands and even the layout is almost identical. Other remotes I had did not control all features and was hard to find one that did. Would Recommend this product anytime.

It does more than consolidate a bunch of remotes into one. It lets you program "Activities". For example, "Watch TV" will turn on your TV, cable box, and audio receiver, and set the input/outputs to the right combination. Or "Watch a DVD" will turn on your TV, BluRay player, and receiver, and set the correct inputs/outputs. "Watch Apple TV", "Listen to Radio", etc etc. Press one Activity button, and your devices start clicking, buzzing, whirring, flashing lights, changing inputs, and next thing you know, you're watching/listening to the correct thing. It's all in the EASY setup. Download the app onto your computer, hook up the remote via USB, and the app will ask you questions and make suggestions (which in my case were spot on). You tell the app what devices and model numbers you have, and it looks them up in the huge database. Then the Activities setup begins. It can't get much easier. I'm calling this remote "My ultimate in laziness device", as the press of one button gets me into whatever I want to do.

I have enjoyed so far having this remote to the point I bought 3 of them!. I was as easy as looking for the model number of the devices you want and programming them simple as that. HOWEVER, I noticed with the Insignia FIRE TV Edtion I was able to program it BUT the only thing that responded on the tv was the Netflix quick button! NOTHING ELSE WORKED. I tried to re-sync it and re-configure it again but no luck. SO I am assuming the Insignia Fire TV's DO NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY on this remote and I have to use the native remote. Otherwise minus this its a great product would have been 5 stars otherwise.

I have been skeptical of "universal remotes" in the past; too many alleged universal remotes seemed lacking in either functionality or aesthetics. This Logitech excels in both departments. The programming was very quick and easy (and I'm not the most tech savvy dude in the world). Even with the requirement to use a computer to sync the remote with programmed functionality, the set up was very easy and went by very quickly. The functions mirror exactly the bulk of the functionality of the remotes it replaces. My only complaint thus far is a lack of voice recognition for Google searches on my smart TV (although if that's the only complaint, I'd still consider this purchase a huge success). My wife took our laptop on her trip, so I used my work computer to set up the remote and tested it when I got home. I am so pleased with the performance thus far (Day 1) that I'm considering getting another one for the basement system (about 6 devices) and one for each TV setup in the house.

Logitech has had the market cornered for a while now with programmable smart remotes. The biggest pro of this remote is the cost for it's extreme capability, which is essential if you must have one remote 'do everything', and do it in a certain way (i.e. turn on devices in a certain order and give further commands). What I do not like about this remote is the build quality...the battery door was loose and would rattle from the first day, battery life is incredibly poor, and it probably won't last long (especially with kids around constantly dropping it). Other things that annoy me are the little quirks, like being completely unable to organize your activities in a specific way. Also, fighting the slow software can be daunting for first timers (I once spent 2 hours making logos to add onto the favorite channels menu). This is a great remote if you need it out of necessity, or a remote for someone who has to have all the latest gadgets and loves constantly tinkering, but not a remote to replace your cable box remote on a simple AV setup (it's probably more headache than it's worth).

Excellent remote with a great price/value ratio. One of the must-have features I was looking for was backlit keys, I read reviews and someone said this remote had it someone said no, only the screen was backlit, not the keys! I purchased it anyway and to my pleasant surprise, this remote in deed had backlit keys. Some more expensive remote controls did not have this feature. We don't want to fumble in the dark with a non backlit remote! One more feature would make it better even with a higher price is the addition of a rechargeable battery and a docking station so after using it, we simply put it on the dock to charge and never have to worry about changing battery.

The remote does exactly what I need it to. I am very surprised by the depth of Logitech's remote code library. This works with everything from my Samsung 4K TV to my old Pioneer Laserdisc. It took a little bit of finagling to map some of the buttons on the remote. For a Samsung TV with Smart Hub, the button for Smart Hub is not mapped, so I just mapped it to "Menu". I also mapped Samsung's "Return" function to the back button on the remote.

I went to replace an universal remote that was over ten years old and I remember paying close to $300 for that one. I asked an associate at BestBuy where the remotes were and Robert who was working in the Magnolia room and he took me over to look. I told him I was willing to pay up to $300. He suggested this $49.99 unit from Logitech, the 665. I had my doubt if it would control the devices in my theater and the Epson projector. He said it thought it would. I bought it home and hooked it up to my PC and within fifteen minutes of so, had it working like a charm. The software is awesome and if one follows instructions you will have no problem setting this unit up. What a fantastic device. For the price it does what I wanted it to do and does it extremely well.

This is my third Harmony remote and I am extremely satisfied with how easy they are to use. My husband and children are VERY rough on our remotes and we do replace them about every two years, but that is because of how we treat them, not because of an issue with the remote. I have bought everyone of these from Best Buy along with the Geek Squad protection and it is incredibly easy to get a replacement. I think my favorite part of all of this is how easy it is to log into my harmony account and sync the remote from my previous ones. It is as simple as a few clicks and everything runs smoothly. I will continue purchasing these remotes and doing so from Best Buy!

After 2 years of very light use my remote died. When inspecting the remote I noticed that there was a handwritten sticker up inside the battery compartment that said, “Err 00g”. This is very disappointing and I feel deceived by Best Buy.

I bought this product to take the place of multiple remote controls in my home. I should have bought this earlier! What a great remote control, and simple to understand! My only issue is the size of the buttons and letters on the remote are on the small side, making it sometimes difficult to see what the buttons say. But the positives outweigh the negatives and I love my Harmony remote. I want to put a plug in as well for the Magnolia team I have used a few times over the last couple of years for installation and programming needs...the customer service is top notch!

I purchased it mainly to use it on my PS4. Turns out it doesnt control that. I still ended up programming it to my TV, surround sound, cable, but didn't feel like keeping it and learning something new when I would probably replace it for something that would control my PS4 as well. I would definitely have kept it would it have controlled the PS4.

How can I give a remote that doesn't have a touch screen 5 stars? Well, let's see: 1. Battery life is amazing 2. Easy to setup in the Logitech software 3. It can control 10 devices 4. Activities and remote are responsive. 5. Build quality This is an amazing remote that should serve most peoples needs for multi activity setups and the price is hard to beat. I recommend this for anyone that wants a "magic wand" for their entertainment setup.

Great smart remote. You may fight with installing it on your computer, old remote, tv, sound bar, etc but once you have it hooked up properly it will save you time and frustration from the way things used to be using multiple remotes. Bought for my father in law who is not tech savvy and he loves it.

Only used one day. Only bad thing is the top buttons like live tv and listen to live music. You can't read because of the contrasting colors. It has to be in The correct light with no glare. I dont think it will be an issue once I learn the functions. Extremely easy to set up. No code searching. A little thin for my hands but once agian I'll get used to it. I definitely recomend this remote for the money. Free ship @ best buy.

This thing is AWESOME. I was one of those people who had six different devices and 6 different remote controls. Setup was a breeze. It was as easy as taking a picture of the bottom, top, or wherever all the device info was for all my devices. downloading the software, and plugging in the remote. It walked me through everything else and I was done. It does take about 30 minutes but once you are finished it is so easy to work and was worth the time. Great investment!

I purchased this remote to replace an old Harmony 550 remote that I could no longer read the text on several buttons. The 550 served me well for several years, so I decided to replace it with the 665. The programming was very easy since I was just replacing it with the settings of the older 550. Works very well, and does the job. This is a secondary remote for my bedroom. I also own a Harmony One that I hope never quits working!

I was fully prepared for the setup to take a very long time and it did not. I gathered my model #s on my cell phone as pics and was quickly able to configure the TV DVD and sound bar. I luv having the activity buttons and the help buttons are great.

They didn't have the one I wanted, so got this one instead. I LOVE IT!!! Was easy to setup. No more finding a code, pointing remotes at each other. It's all done via sync to your computer. Type in your model number and it's set up for you. I now have ONE remote versus 6. Oh yeah!!!!!

This is my 3rd or 4th Harmony over the last 15 years or so. They are great remotes and I would not buy anything else. The only problem I’ve had with the remotes is over time some buttons stop working. The 665 buttons seem to be an improvement over my previous 2 remotes (both 650) and I am hopeful they will be more dependable over time. Nothing else compares with these Harmony products.
