    I had an earlier version of this and except for ripping through batteries and needing to be rebooted frequently is worked fine. This unit is finicky. As an example it keeps turning on my blue ray player when I try to use the smart TV function. For such a pricey unit I expect seamless operation.

    I want to love this universal remote. The problem is that the charging cable makes poor connection with the charging base. It is always dead, and I have a difficult time getting a good contact. If it wasn't for the phone app, I would never be able to use it.
