Programming is much easier then it used to be but if your using this remote for other smart home devices it is not a easy set up.

This is the easiest logitech remote for all my equipment. All I have to do is point and click. It even updates faster and easier. Anyone with multiple devices should have one. DVD, TV, AMP, Gamer all in one touch

Love this universal remote! We fInally decided to go for a universal remote when we upgraded our speakers and receiver. This remote was so easy to program and so easy to use. Absolutely love it.

I have a TiVo Bolt 6#, LG 65” OLED TV, LG Sound Bar System. All worked well with this one remote after Geek Squad installation.

This remote not only replaces your home entertainment remotes, but also works with several smart-home devices (such as smart bulbs). Favorite features are the great touchscreen and ability to set up activities.

The Harmony Elite marries style with performance. Takes some getting used but once you learn its quirks you will be happy with your purchase.

We purchased this to be able to use our voice along with Alexa to control all our home entertainment center. Works fantastic! Not to mention, we’ve cut down from about 7 remotes to just one!

Very happy with this remote, controls all my entertainment devices, including lutron lights. My only frustration was initial programing... device model number required. Had to pull TV off wall go get model #.

The remote is pretty straightforward to use and nicely controls all components. The negatives are: it struggles with components behind cabinet doors; set up is not easy and required me to spend a lot of time with tech support; the touch screen can be challenging when pushing channel numbers—I don’t have huge fingers and I often have to try more than once to get the correct numbers when I’m changing channels.

The remote is designed with a beginner in mind. Setup via the app is a real plus. You can be controlling all of your devices within minutes.

This remote seems to go through the wood console, which is what we were hoping for. It can also be controlled with our smart phones which is a plus for us.

Let's get my complaints out of the way, first. 1. The touchscreen is functional, but not impressive in this world of iPhones, Pixels and Galaxies. It works, but it's not a smooth user experience. 2. The setup process is the least user friendly of all Harmony remotes (I've owned them all). Sometimes the remote needs to be connected to a computer via USB. Sometimes the mobile app is all you need. Sometimes you need to use the PC/Mac software downloaded from Logitech's website. And periodically you need to access settings through the remote's touchscreen. It's just not going to be easy for those who aren't accustomed to jumping through technical hoops. Once the remote is setup, however, it functions well. It's endlessly customizable. It communicates with the Harmony Hub consistently and controls my devices without issue. Battery life? Not great, but who cares (just don't forget to dock the remote in the cradle at the end of each day and you'll be fine). I'm hoping to see an updated remote from Logitech in 2019 with improved touchscreen and a more streamlined setup experience.

I landed right between 4 and 5 stars for the Harmony Elite, so 4.5 stars is probably more accurate. It's a great albeit higher priced universal remote, due to the fact that it's both a remote and a hub. The hub received RF signals from the remote not IR signal, thus being able to control equipment that are e.g. hidden (i.e. not in line of sight). The hub in turn as one internal and two external IR blasters that then forward the IR control signals on to the equipment in the (potentially closed up) equipment cabinet, the TV, etc. I am knocking off 0.5 stars because it is a bit time consuming to learn how to use the remote (e.g. the capabilities of the touch screen) but configuring the remote is quite easy to to the extensive preo-programmed library of control signals based on the equipment you tell it that you want to control (e.g. by Make and Model).

It is very easy to use. It control all the audio visual tv equipment I gave . I especially like it as gives me access to the extra speakers I have outside easily. Can play music in one area and tv in other.

Been looking for a solution that will allow me to automate some of my entertainment options. Hoping this will do the trick.

I've only had this device for a month and am still playing with settings and hub placement. The remote is nicely arranged, much better than my previous Harmony remotes. The motion sensor is nice as is the hub. For those who didn't get this from the description, the remote communicates with the hub which then sends out a burst of IR signals that bounce around the room until they hit your devices. It's a pretty nifty concept, though I have experienced several misfires when a device was not activated properly. I think much of this has to do with my hub placement, which I am still adjusting. I have not used the IR blasters as my components do not sit buried in a cabinet. Setup of this device is super easy. I'm pleased that the silly PC app is gone, and all setup can be done on a phone app or on the remote. Syncing with a PC was a chore and it never worked right. So far so good, but I will say this remote is pricey...if you can find one. Logitech is ditching their Harmony remote line, which is an absolute shame. Hopefully they will continue to support these devices.

if you are a DIY guy then this is the remote for you. If you truly want a smart home, i would recommend using a true control system: Control4, Savant, RTI.... But, not bad for what it is.

I order to learn out to use it and do setup on it, you will need to go to their website. If you call the helpline at Best Buy with questions, they cannot help, they refer you to my harmony.com. There were other issues and still are, but we are doing work arounds. In short, we still have to use original remotes to tv and dvr for certain things.

This remote control is excellent and controlling all of your devices. It is very user friendly.
