Can’t review this product yet, because it is taking a month for Geek Squad to come out and install. The fact I have a TTS subscription does nothing to improve the service.

This thing's still sitting on my desk, rather than deployed to the living room, as it has a strong dependency on IR (line of sight) to control things. My gear isn't all in one spot (there's some in the living room, some in an adjacent room, and some in the attic, etc.) so there's a lot of re-arranging of things to do just to support this remote. The weird bit is that the Hub can FIND stuff on my in-home network. It just can't CONTROL things that way, and it's totally not transparent about that. IMO this is simply a failure of Logitech to invest in the firmware. Every device I have can be controlled via well-documented network APIs. It also assumes that you'll use the blasters on the Hub to turn the TV on and off via IR - and convincing it to use the remote, when the Hub is in another room, is absurdly difficult. My TV, too, can be controlled through its network connection. This just shouldn't be a problem. I don't think Logitech actually cares about keeping up with the times and am now of the opinion that they are just cash-cowing the whole Harmony line. Sad.

You can't go wrong with this remote. It's a little pricey but so worth it.

Did not take long to set up, works fine even with the hub in a separate closet.
