I have owned all the previous versions of Harmony Remotes. This one is the best. Does exactly what its supposed to do. Easy smartphone interface.

I've had many harmony remotes over the years. The Elite has the best key layout and is very customizable. I love the smart hub which makes it easy to control components even in a different room.

Cool piece of electronics. Got it on sale for $200. Pretty powerful and intuitive. Need to play with it more as there is def a learning curve. Would recommend to techie friends.

I had one of these in the old house and bought a new one when we moved. I have been very happy with the functionality and the ease of controlling my AV system located in a closet out of sight.

I've had Harmony remotes since my H1 in 2008. I bought the Ultimate for my theater 2 or 3 years ago. And finally replaced my malfunctioning H1 with the Elite. I feel the build quality is top notch on the Elite. They clearly didn't just pack more stuff into the existing shell like they'd been doing. The touchscreen is more responsive than my H1 or Ultimate, and higher resolution as well. Or clearer picture, at least. They've now included the channel favorite icons in software (ok this isn't new) and they look nice. I don't like Harmony's web based programming, but it is quite simple to use. I actually migrated my H1 to this, and it came over quite well. The RF/hub interface is amazing. This was the other reason to upgrade my H1. Line of sight is no longer an issue in my house. My in-laws will be thrilled! :D Battery life is good on this remote, probably charge 3 times every 2 weeks. WAY Better than my Ultimate, and not nearly as good as my H1, of course. I have Z-wave home automation, but have not successfully bridged the two. I have some Hue bulbs as well, but haven't added them either. So I can't attest to that aspect of this. Cons . . . obviously price. I've spent over a thousand dollars on remotes in my life now. I know that's part of having the newest, cutting edge tech. I don't like the removal of the DVR skip button, but with my TiVo I just use the Chap Skip buttons. Which I wish were separate from the FF/RW buttons. But the long/short press works fine. Some people complain about lack of number keys, but I don't really care, as I use channel favorites and my on screen guide 95% of the time anyway. So if you have the money and want a customizable "RF" remote solution, buy this one!

This is a HUGE upgrade from the old Harmany ultimate. The remote is bigger and the screen is on the top(which for me was wayyyyyyy better) software wise is almost the same as the old version.

Can't go wrong with a Harmony remote. We have 3 in our home alone and have talked family into buying them. This one is very nice and easy to use and connect to our equipment hidden in a closet.

Bottom line is that it works and it works well. The packaging and product info does not help. System is 100% IR enabled on Remote, 2 Mini Blasters, and the Hub, so it’s not too hard to locate IR to operate your devices. IR can be configured in most combinations, but can’t do a BOTH setup, so max number of IR projectors is 3 not 4. WiFi functionality is 100%. Had to adjust timeouts/pauses on TV etc., but not difficult. Read the troubleshooting guide on-line before installing so you know what to expect. No kidding, this helped me greatly. App for iPad is kinda clunky, but it works as expected. I used the PC app for programming and made some adjustments with the app. I preferred the PC app for setup and the upgrade from my 5 year old Harmony to the new Elite was 100% scripted by the PC app and worked flawlessly. Keeping in mind that this is a pretty sophisticated remote system with a lot of functionality (like the virtual remotes on the iPad were like 100% duplicates of the OEM hardware), it found the couple of hours of setup and customization time to be worth it and actually kind of fun (geeks will love it). My biggest disappointments were 1) Logitech provided really lousy on-line buyers information, especially stuff that would define the workings of the product, answer simple but important questions about how it works and what it will or will not do, and 2) The sales crew at the store was something less than clueless. So research on line, buy it, and it’ll work. I’m happy with mine.

transferring the setup from the old harmony to the new one was pretty painless. There are some subtle differences in how the programming works that I am still working out. The reponse to the TV and other devices is better than with the old remote. But, if you pick up the remote from the charging station too fast, a weird screen shows on the remote and it is unuseable for a couple of minutes. Very annoying.

Works perfect. Was programmed & installed by Best Buy contractors. Great service. The owner of the contractor drove 1 hour each way the same night to finish the programming.

I have two of these Harmony Elite Remotes in different homes. First one was easier to program, it does scan and locate devices to add to your remote line up then you put them in specific activities. Ex. Bedroom TV, Living-room, etc. The second one I haven't been able to set up yet as difficulties adding the second remote for different house on same Logitech sign in account. I did seek help on my account but soon after left my vacation home prior to being able to solve. Its seems to me it'd be easier to sign up for second account different email address to make it easier. Maybe its the user I will continue to solve and try to update once I've solved issue. Overall I bought second one since its the one company that I've used over the years in the past with older models of Logitech remotes. It was time for upgrade, typically Logitech techs are helpful in any issues you may have or replacing any malfunctioning product under warranty.

This is the top of the line remote in the Harmony line and has the hub that can integrate lights and AC controls. The App is very nice but might need some extra features.

Now we use one remote instead of four!! After the new TV et all, we were using a different remote for each component. Now there's just one that's simple and easy to read.

This remote is amazing. It controls all of the components for our home theatre which are hidden in a closet. The one button functions make this a very easy piece of technology to master.

I am enjoying this Harmony remote. It is my first purchase of this caliber remote and still discovering all the benefits.

This remote is fantastic! Simple to setup and use! It's nice to have a dedicated remote and not have to use my iPhone ALL the time. I have yet to find a Logitech product I don't like!

I needed a remote that would work in a closet where I keep all of my audio/video components and also that could use inferred on the remote itself to control my TV in a different location. After much research, this remote was the only one I found that could do what I needed at a somewhat reasonable price. The remote works perfectly for this function. I keep the main blaster in my closet on the top shelf of my AV rack and it easily controls everything in the rack, even components at the very bottom. I have experienced no situations yet where the remote has not controlled what I intended to control. It also lets me select to use just the IR commands from the remote itself for my TV so the blasters being in my closet does not affect being able to control the TV. I would have given this remote 5 stars but my only complaint is the touch screen is somewhat inconsistent. you have to press on the screen several times in some instances. That is not a reason not to buy, but just a minor annoyance every once in a while. all in all, great remote if you have components that our not in line of sight.

Long time harmony user and it’s very similar to the 1100 but much more upto date with current cell phone type UI. The ease of programming was worth the upgrade alone.
