Decent remote, but not worth the high cost
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the remote because I needed RF to penetrate the wood cabinet door where the receiver is kept and Spectrum still uses IR remotes. ATT already uses RF, so there is only marginal benefit to upgrading to the Logitech device. At present, and this could be an installer issue, I still do not have volume control for the TV so I have to get up and manually change the volume like I was still living in the 60's.

Difficult to master
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device was purchased together with a new TV, and replaces an earlier mode which performed well for several years. The new device is much more difficult to set up and master, and I had to call in the Geek Squad to get it working. It took the Geek squad guy 3 visits to finally get it working right, but even now I find it erratic and overly complicated. I'm still hoping/expecting to master it, but it is NOT EASY!

Terrible software
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The hardware is good but the software was designed for 20 years ago. Ex: you can create a Netflix activity that starts the tv and sets the right input and such, but you can't tell it what device actually is serving Netflix. Thus after starting Netflix, you need to screw around setting the remote to XBox mode if you are using the Xbox to serve Netflix. This is so dumb it is amazing.

Logitech touch to operate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sense screen is a bit harder to operate than the standard DirecTV RF remote and the buttons are slightly smaller, also harder to control. Thus more time and errors for fast forwarding commercials on the DVR and lots of errors on channel entry. Also unreliable as it doesn't always turn on all of the TV, receiver, and DirecTV receiver. Also very sensitive to getting on the wrong control screen by bumping a sensor below the screen.

Everything on one remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Confusing to use. It is challenging to go from one system to the other. Must have if remote is not in direct vision with cable box

I think there may be better ones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A bit of a disappointment for a product by Logitech. The review for it far exceeds the reality of the product. i continue to have problems of its changing channels and/or activities sometimes just by looking at it Further, required me to purchase another range extender just to allow certain of my devices to link. I don't really recommend this product. Purchased it solely for the range extender that came with it.

Poor (nope Horrible) Setup Process
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned many other Logitech products, and among the many reasons I always choose to buy them is the fact that the setup process to use them is almost always flawless, intuitive and a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, after more than an hour of trying, I still can’t get my Harmony Elite to work for the reasons I bought it: to easily control each of my TV components, as well as set-up one button access to an “Activity” such as “Netflix”, “Amazon Prime Video,” “Disney+”. The interface, instructions, and user setup flows are not intuitive or easy to follow, unlike any other Logitech product I’ve ever purchased, so I’ve assumed that it must “just be me” that doesn’t get it. I’ll revisit it later and if not successful I’ll call Logitech Support which also always in the past has been super helpful, and perhaps they can set me straight. I’ll update this review when I either finally successfully set this up...or, regrettably, have to return it to Best Buy.
