Not much value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works sometimes! I have found that the app on my phone is better than the remote itself. Don't really like the screen that well and the activity button work great sometimes and won't work at all other times. Logitech has taken a step backward trying to cram to much into a remote.

Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was recommended by the Magnolia consultant for my home theater system with many components, but for the high cost it just didn't seem worth it so I ended up returning it.

Difficult to program
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Difficult to program, poor documentation and then inconsistent performance. After programmed, couldn't be depended upon, even after failed responses it later worked, then not. Unfortunately had to return product. Replaced with URC MX-450, very much better.

Too complicated, at least for me.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice features, but very complicated to use and set up. Lacks built-in voice activation capability. Requires use of the Amazon Alexa and I do not need to let Amazon know what I am watching or listening to. If you do not mind that, then get one.

No bueno!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great choice for newer devices. But would not operate my Sony DVP CX985V. Remote is just to big and no need for the screen. For a $300 price tag I returned this item.

Avoid!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely terrible. It does nothing the $60 Harmony 665 can't do for the average user, and the touch screen is total garbage. Nine times out of ten when trying to change channels, it will not register one or more number presses. So if you attempt to change to channel 360, you will likely end up at channel 3, 6, 36, 0, etc. It also randomly changes from activities to devices for no reason. Worst purchase I've made in a looong time.

Programming A Major Hassle
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Programming this to do basic startup to live TV/Netflix/Roku is ridiculously complex. Several hours of fiddling, with the assistance of my tech-savvy daughter, and it still doesn't do the job.

taking it back to the shop
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product does everything is promises..... for the first week. After about 4 days or perfect use it forgets its programming, the settings, the scenes, the channel presets. Eventually it becomes so frustrating to use you stop using it completely. No matter now many times you check for software updates or sync the remote to the base the functions cease to obey. The preset channels dial in to random channels at will. Try to turn one light on and they ALL come on at full brightness, Also will fail to control individual source components, Some come on, some dont. Its roll of the dice. So so so glitchy.

Returned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Couldn’t get all my devices to work with this control. Best Buy even sent a geeker to my house and he couldn’t get it connected. So I stuck with my Samsung 8000 tv remote to control everything which was much simpler and it works.

Don’t waste your money
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Garbage. I’ve given this remote 7 months of rearranging how it’s set up, tweaking settings and troubleshooting everything possible and still garbage. Pointing the remote directly at the sensors, trying to type in channel numbers, the remote will vibrate like it is working, but only 1 number will input to the cable box. Turning actions on or off only works occasionally and partially. Turning all off, sometimes the TV will stay on or cable box and sound will continue and tv goes off. Don’t waste your money - cheaper and better options are out there.

Good idea but has faults
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice idea but hub doesn’t work as advertised. Frequently fails to turn on all devices especially the cable box. Then I have to open cabinet and use cable remote. Will return item and have cable box sensor extender installed

Terrible. Not reliable
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought this universal remote would simplify the operation of the tv and components. After two visits from the Geek Squad, it still will not turn on the TV consistently. The technician switched the programming from Wi-Fi to infrared saying that for some reason our Sony 55” did not like Wi-Fi. Even with the infrared, the TV is inconsistent in turning on. We have to turn the receiver to radio first then select TV and hope that it will turn on the TV. Either this is a faulty set up by the geek squad or a faulty universal remote. Terrible device that does not perform as promoted by Best Buy or the Geek Squad.

Not worth the money....
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very hard to use. We had to switch back to our old remote. Not sure if this has to do with the bluetooth connection. But, it was sensitive when it wanted to be, and then wouldn't work....

Big Price/Low Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to upgrade to this model (I own a 650) as I purchased a media console and wanted to control everything without opening the cabinet doors. My Geek Squad guy worked on this for 45 minutes and could not get it to work. We called Harmony (BEST customer service in the business) and after 30 minutes they got it working. But NOT consistently and NOT through the console doors, so I returned it. The funny thing is, since the console doors are mesh in the front, my 650 works without opening the doors!

Fair
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works only so so. Not compatible with lots of devices. Xfinity/Comcast 4k box will never be supported according to their customer support. Some of the buttons are over sensitive

Posted .Hello. Thank you for taking the time to write your review of the Harmony Elite at Best Buy. I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the compatibility of the remote. If the Comcast box is already controlled by an IR remote, the Elite should work with it, but it may be the voice control that customer support was saying isn't supported. In that case, the Harmony works with smart assistants to integrate voice control.
