    Very difficult to set up

    We had a terrible time trying to set this up. Not sure if it was because of the separate Hub or what. On the phone for over an hour with tech support for this product and they too could not get it to work. The sales rep said "oh so easy to use and navigate", maybe if your an engineer and not the average person. We could not get it to work and returned it.

    This is by far the worse remote and setup I have ever experienced. The process is horrible, it literally takes multiple iterations to setup this remote and I would not recommend this product at all. If you are looking to buy this don’t spend close to $300 for this awful product. Five thumbs down for sure maybe six.

    garbage best buy lie to sell junk!! then they dont want to stand behind the products the sell..this junk is to sensitive!! touch remote and it does something you dont want!!! all the time!!

      Hi sorry to see you're having an unsatisfactory experience with Best Buy and Geek Squads customer service. Since the Harmony remote is a touchscreen, it will react to something touching it. But here is the Activities Troubleshooting link: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/harmony-troubleshooter.     App will NOY work with Alexa . Geek Squad could not overcome the technical deficiencies. Will ONLY work with one TV at a timem- Despite what the Salesperson will tell you, it wil ONLY work with one TV at a time. The touch screen is erratic and unreliable - especially when trying to change channels. This Unit is an abosultely overpriced piece of dog poop!

    Absolute junk. I cannot believe that this overpriced remote remains on the market. Inconsistent functions. Turns on devices not setup in the activities. Stops working for no reason and the lcd screen a joke. I had the entry level remote for years and did great. I went back to it. Don’t waste your money on this junk of a remote.

    Works on and off. Couldn't get remote to work at all. The app on my iPad works then stops working. Countless syncs that did nothing. Some devices don't show up on the remote even though they're shown in the app. The ones that do show up don't work. Logitech support website is worthless. $250 wasted. I can't see me ever buying another of their products.

    We bought a $350 universal remote and had the Geek Squad program it in our home. The next day we had to call for a re-do. Someone came out again, and 'thought' they had it working correctly -- wrong. Going to need a third visit.

    The idea is great. The problem is it constantly requires doing something. First it lost the programming. Then a few months later it needs to be upgraded by connecting to computer. If I'd known I wouldnt have bought it. For a non technical person that means hiring someone to come and do it.

    This product does not serve as a universal remote. I've been forced to return to using the remotes it was supposed to replace. I've been expecting to see the technician return to fix it but have heard from no one. I'll be forced to return it,if no one will help me. I can't recommend this remote to anyone.

    I bought this remote because it will turn everything on at once , this sounded good and yes it does do that but if it isn't in the exact line with the equipment it only turns on the tv but not the sound bar then you have to shut off the tv and then turn it on again because the help button and fix it doesn't really do what it is supposed to , so sorry I wasted the money.

    I had a harmony 900 for 7 years and never had a problem. Replaced it with the elite do to the 900 was wearing out to be expected do to 7years of trouble free use. But the elite performance is poor. The signal doesn’t always work you may have to hit the button several times or point it in a different direction. The 900 you didn’t have to.

    I bought a brand new harmony elite from Best Buy. They sent me a very noticeable used remote ( stains on the front and back scratched. Remote already had a user name a password setup on it as well. I had to wait over an hour on the phone to talk to someone. Love the product. Hate the store.
