    First of all it took forever to set up and it was confusing and cumbersome. Next, it didn’t even work right. It doesn’t select the correct inputs, or it will freeze and I’ll have to reboot the hub daily. My comcast remote works 100x better than this useless paperweight.

    Remote continuously fails to function correctly

    After multiple reprogramming attempts this remote fails to function correctly. It requires multiple attempts of pushing the same button over and over to get it to perform that function and sometimes it still will not work. I would not recommend this.

    Really hard to set up

    I've been working on setting this up for 2 days and it still doesn't work. Very frustrated. We had an older version of the logitech remote and were told we could just copy our information from the old one to the new. NOT TRUE. It all has to be done from scratch.

    Couldn't get it configured with my TV

    I fought with it for over an hour to try and get it to work with my TV, it kept trying to find it on the network. Why the heck does this try to go thru the network when its supposed to use Infrared to control it. I actually returned it.

    The simplest functions DO NOT WORK

    I first bought the entry lever remote, worked my way through them to the Harmony Elite with the hub. The remote often looses it's programming and has difficulty preforming the most basic operations. ON/OFF rarely works without going through the Help routine. Expensive Garbage!!

    Very finicky. Must touch at the exact middle with the exact amount of pressure. Very often doesn't work, have to try repeatedly, or shuts off only some things, not others. Not good if you have large hands, short tempers. Works better for me, worse for my husband.

    One of the most inconsistent product, worked initially for first few days and after that only operates one unit if I am lucky if not then nothing.

    I was told that this remote can do everything. It can't. For example it will not turn on or operate the new LG TV with RF. It will not go to Netflix or Smart function in one step. The Best Buy guys spent 8 hours trying to get it to work and they could not. Total wast of money.

    It doesn't work correctly on anything. Pushing the numbers as a directv remote almost never works correctly. I have the module right next to me and directly in front of the other remotes. It still doesn't do what it is supposed to do.

    Geek squad set up tv, receiver,harmony remote. Tv comes on by itself. Came on in middle of night several times. Trying to get Geek squad back is a pain. Finally on list for returning visit/ two week wait! Grrrrr

      Hi Buys, Very sorry to hear about your bad experience with the Geek Squad setup with the Harmony Elite. Hopefully all has been taken care of by this writing and there have been no further issues.     This remote is slow and sluggish. Looses connection to the hub randomly and the touch screen is unresponsive. I would recommend previous models over this one.

    lag is crazy, need an internet connection, overpriced, doesn't register inputs many times. Don't waste your money and just find the controller you lost inside the couch because you know that's where it is.

    Defective. Does not work out of the box. I’ve programmed dozens of these remotes. Waited too long to open the box and setup. Bestbuy tagged it as non returnable two weeks after delivery.

      Hi Ordy, sorry to see you're having some software related issues with your Harmony Elite remote. You do have a 1 year limited warranty that comes with purchase. This can be used to have a replacement sent to you. There's also the Harmony Support Team that's available to assist with troubleshooting why your remote isn't working. Hope that helps.

    Touch screen to sensitive

    Purchased the Logitech 950 to operate 5 devices. Any time you pick the unit up there’s a good chance some thing will go off or modes will change. Channel numbers are to sensitive to the touch and I am constantly correcting selections.

    After 5 hours, two Visits from professional audio techs and one hour on the phone with Logitech, this “simple” device was returned. It did not synch/connect with our system receiver, or the cable box.

    Have had a harmony for home entertainment system for many years. Decided to upgrade to the Harmony Elite and couldn't be more disappointed. Using volume buttons will trigger multiple things to go wrong.
