As a long time Logitech fan, they definitely outdone themselves on this. I love it!! And all my family and friends do as well when they come over.

I know it is expensive, but I love how easy it is to use and set up. Love that you can log into the My Harmony app and make any necessary changes.

I've had several harmony remotes including the Harmony one. The reason I bought this one is I now have several devices which cannot be controlled by IR technology. I paid $250 for mine. Traded in a 650 to get the discount. The remote by itself is just as capable as the Harmony One. I do like the phone app but the hub which came with this remote is a bonus. With it I am able to sync with other smart home devices and control them with my remote. Harmony also syncs with Alexa. I currently have mine synced with the Philips Hue hub and echo dot. I can control my entertainment devices and my lights with either the remote or Alexa. I do with you could use the remote with more than one hub. Also, currently you can only sync one hub with one echo.

This is a great remote. It has changed my life bei that I have have to worry worry about dropping it a lot. It is sleeker and more durable than previous remotes.

I have used Harmony remotes for years and I have to say, this is the best version I've ever owned. Had I known about how effective the IR blaster is, I would have bought this sooner. I have an electronics closet next to my TV room where all the components of my Home Theater are housed in a rack with other audio/video equipment. I recently rewired the closet and rack and had been using an IR receiver on the TV and transmitter block with multiple IR emitters for all the equipment. I decided to try the combination of RF and IR available with the Harmony Elite and couldn't be happier. I was able to continue using IR for the TV (older model without RF ability) and the IR blaster in the rack. I no longer need the multiple IR emitters as the signals appear to bounce off the walls or rack glass door to reach all the necessary components. It has made thing so much easier. Setup is easy and since I had a Harmony account before this purchase, all my devices were already set up and I only needed to tweak a few button settings on the new remote and I was operational in minutes. The phone/iPad app gives everyone in the household another way to control the components, other than we need the remote to turn the TV on and off. I highly recommend the Harmony Elite for your home theater needs.

Once correctly programed, it operates all my components as well as the TV very smoothly.

So far, so good. Certainly better than my previous model which was bought 3 years ago.

I have been using Logitec Harmony products for over several years. Love them! This is my fifth Harmony Remote ('The Harmony Elite'). Works very well. I needed a remote to make contact with my 300 CD disc player from another room in the house, rather than having to stand directly in front of the Unit to change CD's, etc. The Remote Blasters that comes with Unit, works very well. There is a small nuance ... if the Hus isn't placed where it needs to be, i.e. in front of TV, when you send the signal to 'Watch TV' it will not connect to the write output for that device. Logitech Support has been FANTASTIC in helping me fine tune my Harmony Elite. Highly recommend this product. Also, I would recommend purchasing the additional two year protection plan from Best Buy, just in case. After all, it is an Electronic and things can fail.

I purchased this to upgrade my home theater to one with voice control. The remote itself is very good and works very well as a universal remote. I am still learning all the nuances of the remote and working out the kinks, but the voice control with Alexa is a little difficult sometimes. It won't recognize simple commands like "Turn on TV" or "Turn off TV, but it will respond to "Turn on ESPN" or "Turn off ESPN". I am still not sure if it is a limitation of the remote or Alexa. I deducted a star because of the difficulty to work through these things. It does take some work, which may be a nice challenge for a tech person, but it may be too difficult for anyone else.

Love the convenience of one remote performing all activities. Also got set up to Alexa to turn on/off and change channels. Very cool product

This is A LOT of universal remote. Can you get the job done with a simpler Harmony? Probably. Does the instruction, "do a long press on the musical note to switch to the Nintendo" pass the wife or older parent test? Probably not. So far (a week or so), I like this remote a lot. The screen makes sure all of the activities are visible for less familiar users. I love the powerful IR blasting of the hub. It's far better than I expected. I also like that it came with two blaster-extenders. I can easily control the Xbox on the far side of my wide cabinet. I don't love that the number buttons only live on the screen. I don't love the location of the DVR/Guide/Info buttons. I don't love that I still have to long-press some buttons in some contexts (DirecTV skip, for example). I haven't used this with Alexa or any smart features yet. I'm really in it for the touch screen at this point.

it's really advanced and handy. i had a hard time setting it up but after an hour or so i got it all hooked up (so proud of myself LOL). remote is awesome.

I already owned a Harmony One remote, but I added a TV and accessories in a new room, so I purchased this Harmony Elite. I already knew what to expect as far as programming Activities - and I found the mobile app easy to use when setting up this Hub based remote. Everything works exactly as it is supposed to. The remote feels good in the hand - all the most used buttons are easy to find and within reach. One thing I appreciate (and one difference from my Harmony One) is that since the Hub is actually sending the signals, I don’t have to keep the remote itself pointed at the equipment while starting an activity. I also like how the Hub acts like a Bluetooth keyboard when controlling my AppleTV rather than relying on IR. Overall, the best remote I’ve ever owned and way better than juggling individual remotes for each piece of equipment.

When we got a new TV and AV receiver, we got a new console table that we really liked but has wood doors. We didn’t want to have to leave the doors open all the time so we moved the old Logitech 650 remote to the old TV and got this one. I was worried that the whole “relay it through go the hub” thing was going to be laggy and irritating after the wonderful 650. Wow. No lag. Probably better. And I even set up the 650 with all the new stuff just to make sure I wasn’t fooling myself. The return of the touchscreen — we used to have the legendary, but fragile Harmony One — is a welcome asset. One of the neatest new features is the app setup. Changes can be made on the couch. Also, the dual functionality of buttons is sweet. One press gets one action. Then press-and-hold gives a haptic feedback when it activates a secondary action. All fully customizable from the app. About the only thing I could complain about is the slightly lower button count vs the old remotes. However the ability in the app to change not just the regular behavior but the push-and-hold behavior makes up for most of that. And it’s not cheap. But the last remote worked for 5 years and still services the old TV so worth it.

We've had this remote for a couple months and it has performed well, overall. I'm pretty technically inclined, however, I still faced a few issues during setup. I had a bit of a troubled time getting it paired with Apple TV 4 and ended up scouring the Internet for hours looking for a set of instructions that actually worked. In the end, I figured out that the hub is incapable of controlling the streaming device and that I needed to place an IR sensor close to it for proper functionality. The instructions that I found online which showed how to connect the Harmony devices to Apple TV 4 via bluetooth did not work for me. Outside of this main issue, all of my other issues were minor and expected, and I was able to work out the kinks using the troubleshooting steps built into the device. Now we're able to control all of our entertainment devices with one remote, as well as with voice commands via Alexa.

I chose this remote because it's user friendly and everyone in my house can use it.
