A superb replacement remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned an older Harmony remote that was IR based. I replaced it with the Harmony Elite - and the improvement has been remarkable. One remote controls my Sony products (IR based) and my Roku 3 streaming device (RF based). I plan to integrate it with the Amazon Echo but have not had the opportunity to do so yet.

I Love my Harmonies!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the top Harmony Remotes I have owed yet. Very easy setup from one harmony to the new one. Works Great and it certainly does the job for having to change inputs and different devices in your home stereo. One button turns everything on and changes all the inputs to the correct ones with ease

Set it up properly and all your remote woes will be over! Wanna watch a movie then hit DVD! Wanna play a record then just hit “Listen to Turntable” and voila! Nice, alot of money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote is great, takes a little bit to get setup unless you just have one TV. I have 2 TVs in the same room with different direct TV receivers, would be nice if RF could be used to control one of the receivers.

Great upgrade over Ultimate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tia replaced an ultimate that had gotten too sticky to use. Many small improvements, especially button layout. My only complaint is the small touch target for settings is hard to hit without hitting the top activity

This is the best universal remote!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has the newest technology and is user friendly no matter what your technical understanding. Purchased it with the Marantz NR-1607 and looking forward to adding Phase 2 to include Sonos equipment. Best Buy contracts with the most professional, patient, and knowledgeable GEEK squad around.

Not Impressed At All
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own two other Logitech Harmony remotes and love them. When this model went on sale, I decided to take the plunge so I could integrate my Smart Home devices with my entertainment devices. Set up was pretty easy, and I was even able to transfer the settings from my other remote to this one. That's where the fun stopped. My remote would constantly sync. Every time I picked it up, it would start syncing before I could even press a button. I reset the remote and it was fine for a while, but then it would start the endless syncing again. I shouldn't have to wait 30 seconds every time I pick up the device before I can use it, especially when it's a remote control. The hub would also go off line and I had to reset that a few times. Now mind you, I only had the device for 3 days. Setting up new devices and routines via the app was slow and painful. Doing this via the Harmony App and USB cable was a little less of a hassle. The touch display on the remote was not very responsive and I often had to press the desired function several times. Overall, this device was more of a hassle than it was worth, and for $300 I expected much better functionality. I am a tech savvy person and also work in IT, so I usually can make something work with what I already have. Unfortunately, I could not do that with this remote.

Best so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i have been a harmony user for well over 10 years and they have outdone themselves this time! I bought the remote today and setting up is an absolute breeze. I am able to use more devices on this remote due to the ease of set up. Worth every penny to me.

Good remote once set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I felt the setup process was complicated. Completing everything on my iPhone was not necessarily intuitive. As I noticed certain steps needed to be added, such as adding other hardware in an action, I found myself confused as to where to go in the App to get devices added to already created activities. I ended up just deleting the activity and restarting fresh. I just found the setup steps to be more complicated than the older Harmony remotes. Once set up though, I like its simplicity and speed.

Far from the best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this remote. I had read that it supports the PS4. It does, sort of. Why would you want a remote for the PS4 when you have the game controllers? The only reason that I can think of is for controlling BlueRay movies as the game controller is cumbersome for that task. That is the only thing the Elite does not support, at all, and powering it ON as Sony allows no remote to do so. But you can't use Play, Fast-Forward, Rewind, Pause ... the Elite does not do so. The Elite did do well on controlling our Denon Receiver, Panasonic TV, Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku, and Motorola Cable set-top box. And it did well on switching between Activities, when it recognized your touch ... but that was not consistent. I found that the Elite did not always respond to screen taps, touches, pushes even when trying to start other Activities. Even Watch TV, the main purpose of the entertainment system did not always respond. Which is why after just 2 days I returned this somewhat annoying, sometimes frustrating remote that I really wanted to LOVE. For $300+ I expect more. This remote did not fit that bill, not even remotely. My Harmony 850 works much better, though it supports one less device than I have. But it does support BlueRay movie control on my PS3 with the small add-on mini hub from Logitech. The Elite does not have that option even. As a work-around I just set up a second Game option, Play PS4, and just changed the output HDMI port from my Denon so I can at least control volume, picture, etc.

Well built Harmony with one issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as an upgrade to my Harmony One remote that I have had for 8 years. Love the app usage and the recharge ability but the one issue I could not mentally get over, NO NUMBER BUTTONS! For a channel surfer who knows the channel numbers to switch too, very annoying to have to look at the touchscreen. Sure, you can use favorites but still have to look to see. Returned and purchased the Harmony Home. Not rechargeable but has those number buttons and the app.

Finally just one remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I now finally have just one remote to control my DIRECTV, BluRay player and Apple TV. I wasn't successful installing it myself, but Geek Squad came to the rescue.

Harmony Elite-Poor
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disppointed. Not sure why the good reviews. I'll be brief: app very slow and always syncing with any litttle change ; contrary to other reviews app is not practical and easy to use for troubleshooting-cumbersome and time consuming; remote response is sluggish and even with hubs the signal is poor; doesn't always recognize commands. Definitely not worth the enormous price! Another product with a lot of promise and no delivery. I do NOT recommend! Returning for refund. I'll keep my Harmony One!

Excellent Universal Smart Remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This remote is a perfect addition to my smart home automation. It links up great with my smart hub and thermostats and controls the AV equipment really well. There are some quirks you have to work around but that is par for the course.

Very nice unit, easy to program and use!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've programmed and installed several of these remotes. They work very well and are very intuitive. I would definitely use more products like this in the future. Logitech has a huge database of compatible products!

Does not work reliably with DirecTV Genie 2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone round and round with both Logitech and DirecTV support technicians to make the Harmony Elite system work with the DirecTV Genie 2 (specifically, the mini C41W-500). Apparently, the remote works with older DirecTV models, but DirecTV is unwilling to downgrade me to one of them. Furthermore, they (DirecTV) say they will not guarantee nor support any non-DirecTV remotes. Logitech technicians have tried a number of tweaks to my Harmony settings to make it work with DirecTV. It's gotten somewhat better, but still very unreliable. For example, if I try to change channels using the "Favorites" button, it fails 35 out of 100 times (yes, I counted!). Worse, fast forwarding through commercials is frustratingly flaky. Hitting the play button to stop the fast forward works about 2/3rds of the time. So, 1/3rd of the time, the program keeps fast forwarding until you're about three minutes in and then have to rewind to the end of the commercial. The remote works fine with other devices (Sony TV and BD Player). The back-lit keys work great and it's nice not to have to aim the remote at anything (since it uses RF instead of IR).

Super Remote
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great remote, I upgraded from the Harmony One, to gain control over some home automation products. The setup and use is very simple, and you can use, the remote, phone or tablet as a controller.
