Already own this product but gave it to parents because the non hub version I had previously purchased them caused activity issues only because parent liked to press the activity then watch the remote screen and not keep remote in line of sight of A/V equipment, this caused this parent to have to hit the help button everyday to initiate the activity. I traded this purchased model with them because the remote did not have to have line of sight with hub and the hub had IR extenders. Problem resolved and and both parents have lived a consecutive two year happy A/V life. I decided to upgrade myself back to this version recently due to fact I'm tired of having a roku remote separately than my older harmony that only works with IR devices. Added bonus but not selling point I can sync remote with the rest of our smart home devices such as lights and blind controls.

A definite improvement over the harmony 1100 but still very slow to complete its command

Great for hidden components, can be tricky to setup at first but overall a great remote.

I've had Harmony remotes for a very long time and this has got to be the best remote I've ever had. I only have 2 complaints. 1: The touch screen is VERY sensitive. It works well but sometimes buttons get pushed by accident. Just kind of annoying. I wish there was a way to lock the touch screen by holding a physical button or something like that. 2: Right now I have a 45 day return window and have never had an issue with Harmony remotes (so I didn't purchase the protection plan) but the remote's touchscreen turned white and would not function at day 40 of purchasing it. I returned it no problem and spent the extra $40 for the protection plan. Definitely worth it if it happens outside of the return window. All in all it's a great remote and controls everything I need it to, but I'd definitely purchase the protection plan for it.

The Logitech Harmony Elite remote, is definitely one of the best all-in-one home theater remotes out there. It's not a perfect remote by any means, but once you get familiar with the set-up, you can control almost any component in your system, including smart home devices such as Philips Hue Bulbs. Logitech has also incorporated an Alexa skill, so now you can even use your voice to "Turn on the TV" or "Watch a movie". The automatic device scanning is really convenient with getting all of your devices integrated quickly. Plus the remote and hub look amazing and doesn't take away from the look of your system at all. It's also nice to have the option to use your mobile devices as well. There may be a few frustrating settings you need to look up, and the set-up menus can be a bit much, but once you familiarize yourself with the software, you'll have the perfect home theater remote.

When my wife and I purchased our new Samsung Q9 UHD television we were tired of needing multiple remotes to be able to watch television and movies and listen to music from our new tv, satellite dish , sound bar and Blu-ray player. The sales personnel at Best Buy assured us that they had the solution to our problem. They were absolutely right. This remote once properly programmed performs miracles. With the press of one button it turns on each component one at a time and with the press of another button it turns them all off. All the standard controls are programmed in as well ( channel and volume changes etc.). If there is a malfunction the remote has a preprogrammed troubleshooting button to fix nearly anything with the problem. Not having a myriad of remotes on the end table or arm of my recliner ( just my one trusty Harmony remote) is a dream come true. The only thing that took some getting used to was the fact that you need to keep the remote aimed at your equipment while the remote performs it’s various functions, but it even has an icon on the remotes screen to let you know when it is complete. Pure genius technology.

This was my first time for a Harmony remote and was told this was the best 2x. The remote itself seems excellent but there was software glitches the salesperson at Best Buy didn't know how to fix it expression for me to call tech support for harmony which was the worst experience ever which included the tech not speaking English!

I must be one of the few people who has been underwhelmed by this product. The feel of the remote and overall quality is nice, but I just can't get over the lack of a physical number pad. The touchscreen number pad just doesn't do it for me. I'll probably sell the remote, keep the hub, and pick up the 650 without the touchscreen.

Setting up the remote was really easy, I didn't even have to connect it to my computer everything was right from my phone. This is my second Logitech Harmony Remote my last was a Harmony One that I liked a lot and still have it but some of the buttons stopped working after being dropped on the wood floor (Not the fault of the remote). The new one is Great, I love how small the remote is, it makes it easier to use the touch screen. The RF in the remote is awesome, I love that I don't have to aim the remote at the device I'm controlling. The biggest feature I love is the sleep timer, every night I set so all of my devices shut off as I'm in bed. The issue I have with it is sometimes the HUB locks up and won't respond to the remote, I have to unplug it to make it respond. Other than that no other issues as of yet.

If you are looking for *the* most premium home entertainment remote, this is the one. Aside from the excellent screen and very customizable buttons, my favorite part is the ease and flexibility of setup – it was really easy to get the hub (out-of-sight in our media cabinet) controlling our Roku box and Sony Blu-ray player (both also in there) and one of the two included IR blasters controlling our TV. Commands work perfectly every time despite minimal time spent perfecting the setup. And – bonus – the remote controls our Hue light so we don't have to get up. (Unfortunately, after Nest shut down their API, this remote can no longer control Nest thermostats.) Everything has been great and working smoothly for months, though I do wish the app was a little bit more intuitive. Some of the settings to control the remote are buried a few submenus deep, and some of the settings are only on the remote itself. However, for day-to-day control, the app is sufficient.

This unit was fairly easy to set up. It works great especially since you don't have to keep it pointed at your devices. My wife even likes it.

Glad I had the Geel Squad to program it and this remote does everything. Love only having to reach for one remote to do it all.

The price gave me pause but after I set it up I'm thinking of buying another for an additional room.

Everything I asked for In a remote.. Able to control television, receiver, dvd, wii U and Xbox 360.

I upgraded had the other remote harmony for six years and i love it this one is better didn't think it was possible to improve.

I love how I can access all of my components without having to get up since they are located in a closet in the opposite direction of the TV.

easy transfer from my harmony one, it is much more responsive than the harmony one. In a nut shell an upgrade in every way from the harmony 1

I have had a Logitech controller for 13 years and upgraded to the Elite device. Nice upgrade for the money. A snap to set up!
