    Great remote!

You can run everything through this remote. It's quite user-friendly (once you get it set up). It’s amazing how many remotes it can replace for you. I have a lot of audio gear, and I had no problem adding all of my equipment to it. It's great having 1 remote. The Harmony also does a great job narrowing down such a wide range of remotes for a wide range of different types of equipment into one basic functionality. The only reason I took a star off is the touch screen on it is unbelievably sensitive. If you're not actually tapping in requests, you have to make sure you avoid the screen at all costs, or you end up setting off every function on the screen.

Very Overpriced, Not Very Smart Remote

It's a good remote. It's NOT $350 good. I've had Harmony remotes for the last 20 years. I stopped using one a couple of years ago when I got a FireTV cube that could do all the things Harmony does, better. Sadly, I ditched the FireTV for Roku, and was in need of a universal remote again. Using this latest one honestly feels like going back in time 20 years. Technology has expanded and grown so much over the years, especially in the smart home space and yet my Harmony remote still cannot run specific routines (like if I press pause, it should pause the tv, raise the lights at the same time and when I hit resume, resume playback and dim the lights). This thing costs almost as much as an entire TV, $50 less then a digital PS5 and 1/3 as much as my brand new cell phone and yet it is so limited in what it can do it's frustrating. I wanted it to work my sengled wifi lights which it says it supports, oh but surprise only specific sengled lights that have a hub. My Gosund led light strips? Nope, sorry. No hub, no luck, despite the Harmony having its own hub that apparently is nothing more than a giant IR blaster used to send signals to your equipment (even though I thought that's what the actual remote was). It says it supports Bluetooth, but not PS5 which uses Bluetooth. Sorry. Too bad for you. It's laggy because the actual remote sends a signal to the hub which sends a signal over wifi or IR or Bluetooth (unless it's a PS5) to your device. There's a chain there and despite my gig speed wifi, there's also a lag. Especially with quick button presses like when fast forwarding or rewinding. It's $100-$150 remote at best because it is so limited in what it can do. Does it work? Yeah. Is it built nicely? Yes. But it works like stuff did 20 years ago. Things have advanced so much and if my $90 FireTV can dim the lights, close the curtains, play Backstreet Boys, turn on my TV and put on Netflix all with a simple programmable routine, why can't this $350 remote and hub also do these things?

Don't be fooled by the claim it is easy to setup. Get a professional or someone with experience. It took my professional installer an hour to get it to work correctly, mainly because of my surround system and the Sony A9G. Be careful about what sequence you start and shut down equipment. Once setup you can make minor changes without a programmer (unlike URC). You cannot choose channels individually. You can program your most watched, but there is no provision to just put in the number of the channel. A bit awkward but not a deal killer. Good range. Looks like quality design. Good consumer grade remote. I have not tried the IOS app.

    Logitech Unifying Remotes Rock!

Why did I wait so long to purchase this fantastic unifying remote? The price was a deterent but it is very much worth the cost. It's the only unifying remote I've had that can fully operate everything in my system. I have a smart TV with many apps installed, a cable box, a high end stereo Receiver, & DVD player. I don't have to have any other remotes out. It also has the ability to connect to your smart lights so you can turn them on & off with the Logitech remote. That makes the wife very happy! I'm very sad that Logitech announced the were no longer going make these remotes. The upside is they will still support them. Great unifying remote especially if you're tired of using multiple remotes!

Very good remote for multiple devices

Remote feels good in the hand and uses attractive materials. Devices respond quickly to remote signals. Transfer of devices and settings from old to new Logitech worked correctly. The ability to use a smart phone or tablet to control the hub in a manner that is similar to the remote should be useful for some people. However, Harmony Hub has frozen a couple of times requiring a restart. Also, it is odd that there is no numerical key pad. Favorites can be used to navigate to the desired channel or at least to the vicinity. Favorites do not sort themselves automatically by channel number after deleting adding and there is no sort function that I could find. In spite of the minor annoyances this likely is one of the best replacements on the market for simplifying the use of A/V systems with multiple components.

If you are tired of juggling a pile of different remote controls for your home theater this Harmony Elite is a great device. It can handle up to 15 different devices, a TV - a blu-ray player - Roku - FireTV - Etc. It can be programmed for activities so that with one push on the touch screen and you can turn on the TV and start any and all devices you wish such as a media streamer and your AV Receiver. One button push will turn all of them off or start a different activity such as watching your TV with a cable box or a TiVo. There is sharp learning curve but Logitech will answer emails and within a day or so and provide you updates that will get it all working. Take your time but you will need your computer to program this or your smart phone. Recommended for those with the patience to devote some time to learning the ropes. Once there, it is a breeze to use. My only complaint is I wish there was a physical number pad on the remote. As it is there is one on the touch screen.

Got this to replace my old Harmony One. The set up through the app is so much more convenient than having to plug connect to the computer. However the app could use a bit of work to make it better. So far the remote has worked as advertised. Currently controlling a receiver, apple tv, and tivo inside a cabinet. Pros: 1. Programming is better than the older harmony remotes 2. Works great once set up. 3. Easy to explain to my non-tech savy wife and parents 4. Massive compatibility Cons: 1. app could be improved 2. cost is high 3. touch screen is very sensitive at times 4. have to keep charged

Was expecting more from this remote for the money, does not have "speak to" function and must be pointed directly at the television. Seems to have "hiccups" when connecting to activities. A big positive is the ability to view activities (i.e. TV, Smart TV, Roku, Sonos, etc.).

This product works okay with my system, but when I switched from cable to satellite TV it had to be re-programmed which cost me extra since they had to come back out and re-program it. I still like my satellite TV remote better for ease of use so I end up using both remotes for different things.
