Logitech has done a nice job in putting together a smart remote that will accommodate the needs of most homes. If you want a remote that allows you to custom tailor a sequence of commands that you specify, well... I'm still looking for that as well. To be clear, I AM happy with this remote... to the point that I now own two of them. But as a person who likes to tinker, I'd still like to have the ability to tweak my configurations to do exactly what *I* want them to do rather than accepting a cloud-based recipe.

Just what I was looking for. I haven’t had a harmony remote in 10+ years, but I’m glad I got this one. Thought it wasn’t going to work will all my devices in different rooms because of the reviews on the web about it only working with devices in the same room with the hub. That was a lie! It would’ve. Been also a step backwards from how harmony use to operate years ago. However, the remote can control devices via IR blaster without the need of the hub being in the same room. This is truly a control everything device in your home. So glad I took a chance despite the reviews of it’s capabilities. Just takes a little tweaking and you can control whatever device you want, even if it’s multiple devices of the same kind in different rooms.

I got this to replace my old Logitech remote. Takes a while to program, but well worth it.

I bought the Harmony Elite to address an annoying problem with my Pioneer AV receiver switching to TV from the satellite HDMI input about 20 seconds after power up. By programming a delay and switch back to sat input, I finally have a 1 button start sequence. Added bonus — integration with Nest thermostats and hue lighting. Setup was fairly straightforward and the hub found all the devices on my Wi-Fi network. Macros are easy to setup with the iPhone app. Syncing new commands takes about 20 seconds, though. Seamless setup with Xbox and AppleTV. Netflix smarthub launch on Samsung smart TV still requires manual intervention, so 4 stars instead of 5.

This is absolutely the best! You can control everything from the remote or phone or iPod!!

If you have a fairly simple system, you can probably set this up easily, even if you don't have a lot of technical knowledge. I've set up a lot of these over the years, and more often than not you run into a situation where a particular piece of equipment doesn't get controlled quite right without some tweaking. It is a great solution and can almost always be made to work, but if you have some equipment that is older or a brand that isn't mainstream and isn't in the database, it can get a little challenging. At that point you may want to pay to have someone like Geek Squad set it up unless you are a techie and want to dig in deep!

Live n country don't have wifi but works well w/out

I am very happy with this remote so far. My old harmony 900s RF capabilities were failing quickly. Whenever the remote would send a command I would get a red X in the corner of the remote indicating the command was not sent. I decided it was time to upgrade to the Elite. I was a tad worried being there was no physical number buttons but I got over it quickly as I tend to use the favorite channel icons now way more than ever. The remote has a great ergonomic feel and weight in the hand. I am happy to say that the software is MUCH better now than it used to be. The addition on the harmony app is a nice touch. RF commands are way better now thanks to the new hub that syncs with your wifi home network. The noticeable delay with the old remote is now not an issue. Still learning some of the new things I can do with this one such as controlling my Nest thermostats or even ZONE 2! Overall very pleased. Harmony is still the best and easiest to use universal remote on the market.

This is my third Harmony remote and they never disappoint. So easy to set up, and to use.

I bought this remote to replace my old Logitech remote. So far so good, easy to operate.

After years of sorting through MANY remotes to work my home theater, I finally got around to buying a Harmony. After a little research, I decided on the Elite because it can also control my bluetooth devices like the old PS3. It was really easy to set up, but don't do it if someone is watching at the time because it does require some testing and seemed to talk to things at random until it was set up. I tried it with every device I own including some that don't seem to work with anything but their native remote and it ran them all just fine. Only con really was the IR blaster setup. There are only two and they apparently rely on brute-force and reflections to work and I found a couple of devices with weird sensor placement that didn't get the signal, so I had to move things around a little to make sure all of the eyes could see. Otherwise I was ruling my home digital universe in less than 30 minutes!

Excellent product for linking up all your products and also hands free with google home

Setup was a snap....as is all Logitech products! Don't waist your time with other inferior products.
