Purchased as a replacement for an iRule software remote (controlled via iPad). Device support and programming is simpler on the Harmony, but it is also way more limited in the type and amount of customization. The main reason I decided to fork over the $250 was because it has physical buttons and IR blasters. The build quality is good, not amazing considering its price. The Windows software and software running of the remote can be a bit laggy at times. Should be 180-200 dollars in my opinion.

I really like this remote. Pretty easy to use and battery life is long.

I have owned this for a couple months now. My goal was to have 1 remote that does everything. I spent a lot of time reading reviews for other products which is why I chose this device. If you read reviews, you know and understand everyone has an opinion. This review has one opinion. I spent top dollar for this remote and I expect it to work flawlessly but it does not, it's finicky. Set up was pretty painless. I don't care much to use my phone as a remote, so I can't speak to that. I have an LG TV, Denon AVR S940H receiver, and a Samsung BluRay. I run everything through my Denon unit so it is the device used to select my source/input. Problem is, it stays on the source it was in when last turned off. So, if I was watching cable TV, I can't just select "Watch FireTV" as a 1 button choice. When I do, FireTV turns on, the TV turns on, the Denon unit turns on, but it's the Denon remains in Cable mode since that is what I was watching last. So I have to select "Watch Cable TV then reselect "Watch Fire TV" to get everything right. So you might say "What's the big deal, you had to press an extra button?" For the money spent, I don't want to press extra buttons. Another thing is that every so often, once every other day or so, the remote does it's own thing and I have to shut everything down and restart to get it working right. Again, I spent a good penny for this. So I gave it 3 stars since when it works right, it's fine. I think it should be flawless for the price I paid.

This is my 4th Harmony remote over the past 15 years (separate rooms/systems) and is, in most instances, the best yet for a home theater system with behind cabinet components. Automated set up was very easy and fairly complete with limited input required to fully configure for most functions. The only drawback is the need to go through multiple levels of an individual device settings to get to some of the functions. Given the remote is controlling 5 separate devices, with all their separate functions, there is likely no perfect option to avoid this step. I wish Logitech would take this remote and make the larger screen table top version similar to older model 1000. I give this closer to 4.5 stars, and would be full 5 stars if it had a larger screen. I have not used optional phone or tablet app as of yet.

easy to set up, easy to use. Nice not to have one control instead of 3.

I love this remote. It controls everything and setup isn’t overly complicated but you will have to do some tweaking. I keep all my gear in a closet to get that clean look on my wall. The hub goes in the closet to control the cable box and my gaming system while the remote directly controls my tv and soundbar. Like I said it takes some tweaking. To get it right but once done it works flawlessly. The only thing I wish they would change is the charging stand. I would rather it lay down flat instead of standing but that’s just my personal preference.

This sounded great on paper but in real life is just another "bells and whistles" upgrade for those who "need" to keep up with the Jones and buy the latest tech gadget. God Bless the guy who was able to reprogram my 3 year old Harmony universal remote to do everything this does, so I took it back. Don't get me wrong though, Harmony is by far the BEST add on you could ever get ... just don't rush out to buy something because it is "new" ... it may turn out to be money spent for no reason.

Love this remote for ease of use and ability to manage all components.

I was initially going to have a geek squad member set up remote and requested this service be added on to the TV installation I had the same day however the technician could not get the service added and the installation of the TV took longer than expected. I decided to set up the remote myself and found that it was rather easy to figure out and the configuration was relatively simple. I was able to hook up multiple devices including home control, Apple 4ktv, PS4, etc and all programmed into controller very easily. The app is very user friendly as well.

This remote was highly recommended to go with my home theater system

This is our second Logitech. We liked our old one better. This one does a great job navigating the system, but the remote itself is extremely sensitive to the touch-----can be very frustrating when operating.

Universal Remote Pluses: * Three controls reduced to one * Radio controlled...not IR so equipment could be located in closet * It really works Gripes: * You may not...but I needed Geek Squad to set up. Two techs were at my house and worked over 1 hour to fully set up with all devices * Incompatible with latest Mac desktop operating system. Huh? This is 2021...not 2010. So depended on tech and his Best Buy PC to set up and customize. Hope this is fixed this year.

Great for anyone who has remote control confusion. Easy to use and to program.
