Very easy to setup, great purchase , recommend for all devices

The software Logitech has developed is the key to how simple this controller is to program. Other controllers require quite a learning curve to learn how to program them and the manufacturers don't willingly give out their software and codes. With the Logitech Elite you just need to know what outputs and inputs you used when connecting your components. Answer the on screen questions and the programming is done complete with multi-command macros! Those can be tricky to create with other control systems. With the home base and IR blasters line of sight from the hand control to the components is not necessary, so components may be out of sight behind doors or in a closet. It even troubleshooting on the controller's screen in the event of a glitch. Telephone help is also very good. Very short wait times.

This remote controls our entire TV room with the help of Alexa

I was looking to find a remote to eliminate using three different remotes. The other thing I wanted was to push one button to turn on the TV, turn on the cable box and change the receiver input. This controller has worked great and now has made it so my not so savvy wife can start things up easier. The only thing I would say is that sometimes your finger can drift up and hit buttons you weren't trying to hit. The programming capabilities are spectacular and the flexibility of the system as a whole is impressive.

I've been a big fan of the Harmony Remote family for a long time. They are not difficult to program by yourself through the Harmony app. They are durable and intuitive and can replicate most of the functions on the individual remotes that it is replacing. Unfortunatly the newer Smart TV's have minimized the needs to use Smart remotes. Logitech is abandoning the remote control business. I purchased this one to keep around if another one fails or if my needs grow...future thinking, not hoarding!

Yay Harmony is back with a user replaceable battery. And the software is great I updated my unit from an old 880 and the new remote and hub updated my new remote with my old remotes settings.... A couple of tweaks and I was done. The Hub also has to satellite IR blasters so you can put them in places where your product might be interfered with by a door or other obstacle. And now you can control your PS3 or PS4 without an add on device. (Be aware Sony doesn't allow 3rd parties to turn on the PS4 - so the remote can't do that)...I was impressed enough that I got my friend to turn in his old remote and upgrade to this one. The android App is very nice. The only negative is that it will not use a 5Ghz WiFi it only uses 2.4Ghz and the APP has to reside on a phone or tablet that is attached to the same WiFi the Hub is on.

Works well. New software takes a little getting used to. Some of the customization options are a bit hidden. Only real issue I have is with adding more than two custom buttons to the top screen of each activity. If I add more than two only two show up. Seems to be an improvement overall to my Harmony Pro remote. Nice to be able to use the phone app to program things instead of having to use a Windows machine with a USB port like the older software.

This remote has much needed improvements over the previous generation, including an lcd touch screen that no longer has the annoying buzzing sound often picked up by children and pets. It is great that it has hard keys for lights, although programming and updating those functions is not for the faint at heart. Unfortunately with this remote we lose some customizability over the previous generation, we used to have more logo options and be able to change the wallpaper of the screen. Nevertheless, this is by far one of the best remotes on the market and all who use it really love it's ease of use.
