Best remote I ever had Highly recomended Easy to set up and to use

The device was easy to program, but the use is inconsistent. After turning on all components, the TV input will be lost if a channel is selected. Have to use original TV controller to restore correct input.

Single remote is wonderful and very useful. Works well.

Great if you can find one, but they are no longer selling them

I had a Harmony One+ which i loved, but once we moved and all my equipment went into a closet, it no longer met the need, so in stepped the Harmony Elite. it works great. It did take a little getting used to, to get the activities setup, as they are different than the One+ because I have some unusual and specific needs, but I was able to get it working. Only issue, unrelated to the remote, is apparently, Alexa had an update right before I bought my remote, so as of now, 2 month later, my Harmony skill still will not Enable on Alexa, and other are complaining of the same, so I am waiting, not so patiently for this capability, as that was a big reason I made this investment. Other than that, love it so far!

With this remote and hub you can pretty much say goodbye to all you other remotes. When I first set up it had limited support for LG's oled smart tv. But not to worry, they updated and now have single touch buttons for Netflix and Amazon. Programming is fast via windows app. You add devices first, then create activities for control of amplifier input, tv input, device control etc. It even had codes for my isy994 home controller so adding lights and such to activities was easy. With Alexa control of home devices and Harmony skill, it becomes possible to say "Alexa tell Harmony to watch tv". The iPad and iPhone apps will automatically sync with current device state on startup. Use that iPad for the ultimate remote with the Elite remote and hub.

This is clearly the best Universal Remote on the market. Is is spendy...yes. Worth it? I believe so. There is a learning curve and I am still working through. The Harmony Software is a little tricky but once you get set up it has enabled you should have one remote. Would love to see more smart home integration like Wemo, etc. That learning curve and Home integration caused the 1 star reduction. Otherwise pretty happy with it.

Extremely hard to program. Contemplating returning it or paying a Geek to set it up. Works when it wants to. Had older model worked great for 6 years fell and broke. Expected this to work as well. Not so.

This is my third purchase of the same remote, one for each TV in the house. A universal remote is almost a necessity these days with all the different devices we have connected to the TV. My wife was so frustrated before I bought the first one, now she is a pro with it. Setup is not hard, and gets easier as you get used to the interface. There's lots of forums on the web to help, and Logitech support has always been excellent when I needed it. I recommend the protection plan, because remotes get dropped a lot, even though these are built very well and have survived a few drops already.

This universal remote is relatively intuitive, easier than our old model it replaced. Rather than the touch screen used for the primary functions at the top of the remote, we would prefer to have buttons like those on the bottom of the remote. The touch screen is so sensitive that just picking up the device to move it can accidentally change the function status. That continues to be frustrating.

I have purchased two of these remotes for two separate home theater setups. The setup of this remote may be a little confusing for beginners but Logitech does a good job walking you through it. You can create numerous activities and control all of your electronics with the Harmony Remote Elite. You can check the compatibility of your electronics on the Logitech website before purchase to see if the Harmony remote will work for you. It has definitely eliminated the need for having remotes all over the place. I would recommend this product.

This is a nice upgrade from the previous Harmony model, but if you have cable TV, it has to have a direct line of sight to the cable box. It also is twitchy in selecting the channels; sometimes it won’t move up or down. It gets a good rating because it handles the TV, sound bar, and DVD well, but loses a star for the poor compatibility with the cable box. The cheaper model works better with the cable box.
