This remote can pretty much control anything. I’m building up my smart home collection and am a huge Apple HomeKit supporter. When I don’t feel like telling Siri to do an activity I use this remote. It controls my TV, sound bar, satellite box, DVD player, lights, door lock, Dyson air purifier, etc. The only issue is the screen is very sensitive and can feel your touch on a button very easily.

The remote is very good. I have Comcast Xfinity. Their format and remote is pretty good, including a very accurate voice control. The transition to Harmony was very easy because the keys were very similar. The one feature that we miss is the voice control. With a few command words, you go through several key strokes and pauses to a particular show.

To be honest, I purchased this remote to replace an existing Harmony remote which is about 7 or 8 years old, but is having some issues. I frankly like the older remote better for it's layout, but, since the battery isn't replaceable and only last about 4-5 hours after charging, it won't be long before I have to set up and use the new one. "OK", the new one is still in the box!

Harmony is a slick and easy to use product. The touch screen is nice, but a bit sensitive so it takes some caution at first. It has a large database of components it will control without teaching it how. We run lights, tv, Roku, DVD, receiver, etc with capacity for several more. Battery charge life is good and has not been an issue. We are very happy with this purchase despite the initial apprehension due to the price for a remote.

I've been setting up my own AV equipment for years and will say that this remote has been the easiest and simplest set-up I've had. I have all my AV equipmnet in a closet away from the living room so this remote with the RF is huge and works really well. The setup was very simple and making changes to the settings is very easy. This is my second (my last one got wet and stopped working) and I would recommend this remote even with it's high purchase price, due to capabilities and features, as it can control up to 13 devices.

Another great remote from Logitech. I have owned several different models over the years and this one is my favorite. The changes compared to my 700 and 650 took a little getting used to but the ease of setup and the haptic feedback make up for it. If I had to pick one complaint it would be that it seems just a bit slower than my others switching activities. I highly recommend if you have a big complicated home theater system.

Got many recommendations for this remote from several Home Theater groups on Facebook. Well, it was really easy to follow setup directions on IPhone and create my viewing and listening windows on remote. It Totally lives up to its reputation. Yes it’s a bit sensitive to use, but upside is getting 4 remotes off coffee table, and everything is on my Harmony Elite Remote. Was difficult to locate one, had to drive 3 hours round trip, but totally worth it

I got this to replace a 10 year old URC MX900. Couldn't be happier. It supports 270,000 devices, including my Lutron Grafik Eye. Setup was very quick (once you get a handle on Logitech "syntax"). The IR blasters and hub cover a three shelf setup of TV, Wii U, UBD-K8500 player, DirecTV Genie, Denon 3312ci AVR and Lutron light controller. Love it! Granted, the remote is not as "rugged" as a URC MX, but you can program it without the $90 per hour "home automation" guy. The remote is ergonomic and works well, is backlit and has a touch screen. Works with RF, Bluetooth and IR.

I bought this remote for use with my home theatre that was installed by Best Buy Magnolia. It is used to manage a Sony TV, Denon AVR, 5 Martin Logan IC speakers and a REL subwoofer. The remote does a solid job of managing all the devices. It will intermittently loose connection with the TV and I'll have to use the TV remote to power it up. The remote requires charging as a side note. I recommend this remote.

The Harmony Elite is great! I had no issues getting everything setup. The initial setup does take a bit of time to go through but once you are done it makes all your remote use extremely easy. I have a Google Home and the Smart Hub works great with it. I can control the TV, volume, DVD player, change channels, etc. all with Google voice commands. The remote itself can be a little touchy but works good. The ability to use the Harmony smart phone app is also great.

I have used Harmony remotes for years. What is nice is this now works my PS3, my Wii U, my Amazon fire stick, and my computer that I use as a media center. Set up takes time if your using it to control your PC. You have to go the harmony and read how to program what you need to do for that. other than that it is standard like the old Harmony remotes. Their is also a Harmony app that when used makes your phone act as a remote, and you can program your remote with it. The remote is also compatible with home control systems. a plus if your thinking of adding light control.

True universal remote, but not perfect

I bought the Logitech Harmony to replace a range of individual remotes for old and new A/V equipment. It is a very versatile remote which paired nicely with an older McIntosh controller, tuner, and DVD player as well as a brand new LG TV. Instructions were detailed, and I was able to complete programming in less than an hour. I also like the faint but noticeable feedback (vibration) received each time the touch screen is tapped, for example to change TV channels. However, over time I've found the touch screen on this remote to be far too sensitive. I can't even pick it up off the coffee table or sofa without it performing an unwanted action, like changing TV channels or switching to another programmed activity. The "activity" and "device" functions on the touch screen need to be actual buttons instead of highly sensitive screen functions that are slightly below the main screen functions. Any unintended contact at all with the upper half of the remote, even to just pick it up, results in undesired actions. At least turning the power off is an actual button. I definitely like having to only use a single remote control now, but am somewhat disappointed with the design.

I was really looking forward to having one remote for all my audio/video components. The remote itself is very nice. Setting it up was not a simple task. I'm pretty tech savvy, but this took some time looking up model numbers, entering the information. That was ok, I thought because I should only have to do it once. Not necessarily. My first issue was getting the remote to operate all components in sync the way it was suppose to. Some would turn on and then turn off for no apparent reason. The remote would stop working on particular equipment and have to be re-entered into the remote for some reason. Maybe the most frustrating is that the setup allows you to enter your favorite TV channels with the network logos and everything. Pretty cool, right? Not so much. Often times, you can press a favorite and the remote will get maybe one or two of the channel digits correct and tune the wrong channel. Very frustrating to have to push the favorite button several times before it gets the right channel. On a positive, it is nice to be able to use my iPhone as the remote. It has all the functions of the remote itself on the iPhone app. I'm still playing with it, but it may go back to Best Buy.

This was frustrating to setup. It requires multiple updates and I had to plug it in to a computer to update the remote firmware. I appreciate the large catalog of remotes it can replace and it seems to work well once everything is done updating. The mac software is pretty terrible but the iOS app is pretty well designed. Some features are hard to find (i.e. finding out how to sync the remote through the software was hard for me).

I've tried nearly every offering for universal remotes and this one, by a very large margin, comes as close to perfect as it could possibly be. You'll need some patience dealing with trial and error to get it all humming along nicely, despite all of the "It's so simple to program.." Reviews you'll read. This is even more true if you have a complicated system, as I do. The great thing is that if you keep after it, it's worth it.

This remote has been my go to remote for all of my clients. It just flat out works. I have used and programmed URC for many years, but the speed that these remotes can be set up is by far the best. Some of the best features I love are the ability to use your phone in case the kids didn't put the remote back on the charger, you can still do all the operations. If you have more than three devices to control you simply need this remote!!

I bought this to replace my old Harmony One that was having issues. This one works well on the basic functions - Watch TV, Listen to Music, Watch a Movie - but is a bit cumbersome to use once you select an activity. If while watching TV, you want to direct tune to a channel, you have to go to Devices/Tuner and find the numeric keypad to do so. I wish they still made the Harmony One, so much easier to use - more user friendly.

We have found the Harmony Elite from Logitech to be say to program and relatively easy to use. The only issue I have so far is that it is hard to enter the numbers to change the channel. I consistently type in the wrong number or it times out on me before I can enter the next number. Other than that we are pretty happy.

I like the touchscreen- very responsive, like a smartphone. Sometimes you get inadvertent touches like when it falls between the cushions in the couch but overall worth it. Configuration is relatively painless but it’s not my first Harmony, so I was prepared for the complexity of oddball devices in my setup. Recommended if you are technical enough to do the setup.

My old Harmony (8 years) finally was having battery issues etc. Best buy sent out a coupon for $100 of qualifying remotes with a trade in so I opted to take them up on that. I bought a Harmony elite and couldn't be happier. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I used to have to hold my old remote up because the blaster signal wouldn't reach the tv and it had to be line of sight to turn on. Occasionally it would get out of sync and inevitably I would hear about it from my wife. NOW, my setup works perfectly with no problems whatsoever. Thanks for the great product.
