The remote that I have always been lookin for...

I must have gone through a dozen so-called universal remote controls and many of them worked but there were always a couple of critical features that the remotes could not control (volume, internet streaming, etc.). I bought the Harmony Elite Remote and although it was a bit expensive it solved all of my problems. It is great and now I can control all of my devices with one remote!

This is my second Logitech Harmony remote. I loved the first one so much, I got another for my man cave. It truly controls everything in my two home theatre systems. First, simply add all your devices, then create “activities” to turn each on in sequence. It takes cares of all inputs and outputs. Everyone in the family can now manage each system from just one remote. And its charging cradle negates the need for batteries.

Frustrating to setup but works once done

This was frustrating to setup. It requires multiple updates and I had to plug it in to a computer to update the remote firmware. I appreciate the large catalog of remotes it can replace and it seems to work well once everything is done updating. The mac software is pretty terrible but the iOS app is pretty well designed. Some features are hard to find (i.e. finding out how to sync the remote through the software was hard for me).

I've tried nearly every offering for universal remotes and this one, by a very large margin, comes as close to perfect as it could possibly be. You'll need some patience dealing with trial and error to get it all humming along nicely, despite all of the "It's so simple to program.." Reviews you'll read. This is even more true if you have a complicated system, as I do. The great thing is that if you keep after it, it's worth it.

I bought this to replace my old Harmony One that was having issues. This one works well on the basic functions - Watch TV, Listen to Music, Watch a Movie - but is a bit cumbersome to use once you select an activity. If while watching TV, you want to direct tune to a channel, you have to go to Devices/Tuner and find the numeric keypad to do so. I wish they still made the Harmony One, so much easier to use - more user friendly.

    Greatest multi-remote ever

My old Harmony (8 years) finally was having battery issues etc. Best buy sent out a coupon for $100 of qualifying remotes with a trade in so I opted to take them up on that. I bought a Harmony elite and couldn't be happier. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I used to have to hold my old remote up because the blaster signal wouldn't reach the tv and it had to be line of sight to turn on. Occasionally it would get out of sync and inevitably I would hear about it from my wife. NOW, my setup works perfectly with no problems whatsoever. Thanks for the great product.

I've had high-end remotes in the past, but this is by far the best. Easy to program and really gets the job done. Never get a device out of sync with the activity you are preforming. Even my wife (who never aims) can use it. One simple touch on whatever activity you want, like "Watch TV" and everything needed to make that happen goes on and is set to what it should be. Works my receiver, TV, DVD, cable box and Hue lighting. What's nice is that you don't have to aim, and every component can be behind closed doors in a cabinet. Nothing shows, everything works.

This is my second single remote, previously I had a Pro but had a much larger system and it worked fine, but sometimes it needed rebooting or the battery would not hold a charge long. I have streamlined my system due to space and find that this new harmony elite remote a delight. Obviously they have changed providing a more digital appearance and easy to operate. So far it has worked quite well and I anticipate it will continue.

The Harmony Elite is a sleek, easy to use all-in-one remote that can make your life a little easier. In addition, the App installed on my phone makes it easier than finding the remote. I have found the touch screen button a little buggy when trying to move to a specific channel, but that may be a verizon related box issue. Overall, I would recommend if you have the spare change and don't like all the remotes for each device.

Considering the wide range and age of products to connect, I understand the challenge to make set up simple...but that’s their challenge and shouldn’t be mine. This is a good product that I do recommend but do so with fair warning that set up could be difficult based on your degree of technical expertise and on the age/mix of your devices.

    Great Universal Remote

The Harmony Elite is a great universal remote for controlling multiple devices in an A/V setup. Once it's set up it streamlines the process of controlling all of your devices without the need to have a pile of remotes laying around. The setup can be a little confusing if you aren't used to dealing with Harmony products and the setup software.

This is the best thing I’ve invested in for my home entertainment. I was so tired of fumbling through all the remote controls. I think I had line 5 remote controls out and when the lights go out to watch a movie it was a hassle to find the right control. This product puts all the devices in one controller. The screen lights up so it’s easy to see in the dark. I recommend this product anyone with multiple devices in their home theater.

This remote is so spectacular i reccomend to those trying to simplify their entertainment equipment control. One control for everything! There is some time needed to set things up but its worth it. I was probably still tweaking settings for days after initial set. Take the time to fully customize the remote, that's the whole strength of it. Very happy with the Harmony Elite. Oh! Also i dropped the remote on my concrete floor and not a scratch or anything. So it's durable!

I purchased this remote to replace a Harmony One unit that I had for 5-6 years. The new unit was super easy to program using my i-Phone. No need to use a computer what so ever. The iPhone set up had all the IR codes for all my equipment. The WiFi capabilities make it a very easy to use as well. No need to point the remote at your equipment. You can also use your i-Phone just in case you failed to charge the remote. I also like the new remote charging stand. The remote stands up in the cradle as opposed to the Harmony One which charged in a horizontal position.

If you are on a mission for home automation, you're at the right place. Logitech Harmony will give you the ability to connect your TV to Amazon Echo as well as multiple devices that it supports. I rarely use the remote, but use voice commands to the Amazon Echo to execute while Logitech Harmony provides the infrastructure to make it happen. The UI for their desktop software is horrendous and the app could be better.

It works flawlessly with all of the audio equipment and components. I had to purchase an additional HUB for the z wave lights which is also a logitech Hub, so it bothers me a little that this is necessary and wasn't incorporated into the original HUB at the price. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

We have two of these remotes one for our main tv and another for our home theater system. They help to decrease the number of remotes you need to operate your system. Every now and then it doesn't always turn everything on and you have to go to individual device function to get it to turn things on but this is rare. Very costly remote...luckily we purchased them on sale about 100 dollars off.

I purchased this remote as an upgrade from the Harmony 900. I wasn't going to use the blaster, but I am so glad I did. It found all my devices immediately including those that my 900 had trouble with. I really like being able to control things from another room, or even with my phone. Some of the setup was a bit clunky; you had to be patient and wait for it to catch up, but now that it's set up, it works flawlessly.

Fantastic remote! Supports all my needs including integration with Lutron Caseta and Hunter Douglas blinds, as well as just about any TV or home theater components you have. Setup took a bit of effort but not bad considering it’s capabilities. I had tried a different brand before this and that one was returned due to lack of support for some my home automation items. This one is the best you will find at this price point.

I opted for this remote due to the flexibility of the connectivity. I am able to connect via BluTooth, WiFI, and IR to my devices. My components are in a closed compartment, and my display needs IR to run. All functions work very well, but the Roku Premier. The Roku connects via WiFI and has many issues. I will get an error message on the remote. Besides the Roku issue, the remote is excellent!
