    Best Harmony Remote

I've had several Logitech Harmony remotes over the years. This one is my 4th, and is the best by far. Every shortcoming the other had has been addressed in this one. Is it cheap? No. But Best Buy offered me a $100 voucher to trade in my old harmony remote for this one. Good form factor, not too big or small. Fits well in the hand. The buttons are where you want them to be. Best feature? Wifi connectivity. No longer does the remote need line of sight to do its job.

Good remote. Has a fast setup. Have your model numbers ready when your ready to start the setup. It will make the set up quicker. If your equipment is in another room, be sure you get the remote that has ir (line of site) the remote is rf ( through walls) the hub itself is what's sending the signal and your tv won't get signal unless you place a remote blaster at the tv. If your running wires from tv to closet. Be sure to take an extra for that blaster.

This remote is amazing it allows you to program many different devices. We got this so that we could put our 5 remotes we had to use up to keep them from getting lost or broken. This really saves on the headache only complaint is you have to switch to each device u want to use on the remote I kind of wish it would turn all them on at once, but we have only had remote for a little while so still a lot of learning

This remote is wonderful. It combines up to 15 remotes in one, has a touch screen, and is so easy to use. You enter your product into the setup, and it automatically scans for the code to set it up. No more having to hunt for those annoying codes! The remote has smart commands, such as “watch tv”, watch Apple TV, watch a movie, and so much more. Well worth the money spent!

    Great Upgrade from Harmony One

I have owned two Harmony One remotes for years and loved them. However, I was looking for better integration with internet controlled devices such as networked LED bulbs. The Harmony Elite turned out to be great for this but does a really great job controlling my home theatre as well. Setup of devices is really easy using a smartphone and not needing to point the remote at anything is big plus (remote communicates with the hub wirelessly.) Pricy toy but very pleased.

Liked my old 1100 and the battery life was great. The new Elite is very nice and easy to program. battery life is not as good as the 1100 but that's all I can say bad about it but that did not stop me from using the Elite it's very easy to use and program, I just put it on the charger more often than the 1100. Not so bad

I wanted to get a remote that I could use to send information to a central location while located anywhere in the house. This has the ability to do that. My setup involves all my equipment upstairs in a closet and my TV downstairs. With the ability to control everything anywhere, I dont have to be in the room to work anything. I can simple press the button in the kitchen to control the TV in the living room. Great use for an intermediate or advanced setup.

I have purchased about five of these controls and generally they are a good unit they are fairly easy to program and it's nice having everything I want remote control I have run into a few glitches but overall I'm very satisfied with the product and their technical support line is also very good in case you have any problems programming stuff

I have been an avid fan of Harmony remotes pretty much since they ht the market. This remote is my favorite by far. Easy to use, very ergonomic layout, back-lit buttons, touch screen for customization, rechargeable, ... what's not to like. The hub is wonderful because it eliminates many functional issues and the programming method is really nice, light years ahead of other remote manufacturers. Just love it and I would absolutely recommend this product!

A Must Have for a Complex System

If you have a complex home entertainment system (multiple source devices, many different inputs on your TV, stereo, etc.), then this is a must have. It's much easier to program than its predecessors (although still not exactly FUN to program), and once you have it setup, it's very easy to use. Even when my parents come to visit, they are able to do anything they need (watch TV, watch a movie on my media server, watch Netflix on the XBox) without any trouble.

I had to upgrade to this remote after using a harmony one remote for about 6 years. The charger quit working and the remote was pretty well used. This harmony Elite is great, uses hub and has IR repaters to help work with all your devices. My only complaint is it does not really do much for the PS4. Otherwise it is a great remote and much improves over older models. Was able to take programs from old remote and pit into new one.

Expensive. Relatively easy to program. touchscreen is too touchy - should allow you to scroll and trigger only when truly depress a selection. Instead when trying to scroll, it will trigger on whatever your finger touched to scroll. shouldn't cost as much as it does.

Caution on the 1 Year Warranty.

We have owned 2 of these remotes. While it has great features and options, both had hardware failure where the screen freezes shortly within the 1 year warranty expiring. Support services, although had a ticket opened on the second remote, before the warranty ended, were not flexible with replacing the remote beyond the warranty date despite the fact that it still did not work properly. I was told they had to stick to the policy. It's very disappointing. I would recommend buying an extended warranty on this product as it seems to fail within a year of purchase.

It is much better than Savant and the tv no on her turns off on its own. It much simpler to use as an end user and can manipulate Apple TV as well all on one remote. We really like it far better than the Savant system which is very complicated to use.

I love the features of this remote I replaced an older version the old Harmony One, however the touch screen is way too sensitive and just trying to pick the thing up often results in changing a function or fast forwarding and that can be very annoying.

    Good but Priced Too High

The new line of Harmony remotes featuring rf communication via a hub are amazing. I can control my devices and home automation with the remote, and I can control the remote with my Amazon Echo. The reason I gave this model only 4 stars is that it does not offer many advantages over the home companion, yet it is more than twice the price.

This remote works well with everything but my APPLE TV that it will not recognize. Setup is tedious and the instructions are poor and lacking. But, it did finally work and turns everything on and off. It does not have a physical keypad, but if you scroll to the right on the main screen, it will bring up a digital keypad in 2 or 3 swipes.

I bought this remote to go from 5 remotes to 1 and control some smart devices. It was fairly easy to set up and setting the activity features makes it very easy to get exactly where you want with the touch of a button. I would highly recommended this remote if you want a top of the line universal remote and can take full advantage of all of its features.

This remote continues the legacy of Harmony remotes. I haven't purchased one for almost 10 years. The software was surprisingly good, and it's easy to make changes to the remote configuration from your computer or phone. The desktop interface for changing button assignments isn't as smooth as it could be, but overall a decent interface. I haven't had any issues so far with connectivity and response delay using Harmony Hub vs. an IR remote is minimal.

Bought this to replace my Harmony One remote and was completely up and running in 30-45 minutes. Was able to finally put all components of my home theatre system inside our media center because the hub and IR units allowing signal to be blasted to the components without direct line of sight to their receivers. Battery life is great and mobile phone & Alexa integration are nice as well.
