It easily controls all components in my home theater plus lutron lighting. Can be programmed by the remote itself but better using computer app. Occasionally it doesn’t turn everything on in the right sequence and I have to shut everything off and restart, but otherwise very good and versatile

A little difficult to set up with the hub at first because if you don’t do it right the first time you have to wait like 30 min I think for it to reset ... but once you get it setup it works like a charm.. it literally works for everything even my thermostat

To run my stereo system it takes 6 remotes all lined up ready to watch a movie or listen to some music. Called Best Buy and spoke with members of a Geek Squad and made an appointment for someone to come over and show me how to use only one remote the Harmony remote. The gentleman set up my system to work on one remote and my life is simpler now.

Very cool remote. Would be great if it had a built in microphone that allowed direct voice searching to Amazon FireTV and Roku. Having Alexa turn on the tv and control the tv is more useful than I would have thought. Have not tried the hub/remote with any smart home gadgets (lights, switches, etc.).

    Best All-In-One Solution so far.

The Harmony Elite replaces two other attempts at having fully capable All-In-One remotes in my household. This exceeded my expectations, as it not only controls all of my Home Theatre components (TV, A/V Rec., AppleTV, PlayStation 4, Cable box, etc.), but it also controls our Nest Thermostat and lighting. That was an unexpected bonus in my case. If you're in the market for a true all-in-one, this is the remote for you.

This is a very handy remote system. It will control just about everything you own as far as home theater. It's pretty easy to set up and with work nicely with Alexa to control your tv, sound system, lights, etc. This replaces a Harmony One that I've owned for over 8 years, and it was still working great. I highly recommend Logitech Harmony remotes.

I had this programmed for me by GeekSquad. It is easy to use. I like that it has a backlight to make it easier to find the correct button in a darkened room. The touch interface is a little quirky- sometimes it does not register your finger and you have to touch it again a few time to get it to activate.

Love the Logitech remotes. This remote is good. Sometimes it has trouble turning items in the commands, and other times it does fine. The biggest negative now about the remotes, is that most have to have some sort of wifi to either setup or function all together. So it kind of sucks for us country folks.

I LOVE this smart remote! It is really easy to use, simple to program and not nearly as bulky as the previous models! I like the touch screen and IR features a lot, but the ability to be able to program it myself was the biggest plus as it was replacing a model that had to be programmed by the professionals that sold it to me every time I changed anything.

This is a great remote if you are a little tacky not tacky, techy Their customer support can talk you through anything and if you can’t do it they usually have a way to do backend programming for us I sell these about 10 per year year. I normally pay full price so if you find this on sale it’s a pretty good value.

Got the Harmony Elite to replace my failing Harmony 900. I was reluctant to use the app to set it up due to bad reviews but it was not that bad : the programming was faster than the old interface on PC and any changes will by sync directly to the remote. The wifi base system is even more convenient than RF (i did not like point and shoot of IR remote). Overall satisfied and not regretting the high price.

Remote and hub work great (usually). After you figure out how to configure items and activities it works excellent. Just make sure you have a good wifi connection as I had issues some time to time with it responding properly to my TV.

This is a great remote if you need to operate equipment behind a solid cabinet door. I recently purchased a new entertainment center / tv stand and my old remote wouldn't work without the door being open. This remove controls everything and allows you to program sequences to determine what devices should be turned on together and even what channel do you want to tune your TV to when you first turn it on.

Had installed Harmony last year for one of my friends, so was aware of the install process. Everything went smoothly, including the setup of activities. Wish it has option to add TP-Link Wifi Products. The Remote is nice as well. Happy so far.

Really like having one remote. Geek Squad had to program it twice. We had to put a delay so the TV and DirecTV come on first and then five seconds later the receiver comes on; otherwise we get a pink screen. On occasion the touch screen is not as responsive as we would like, but overall it is a great product.

    I'm conflicted..

The good: Remote is responsive, touch screen display works well. Build quality feels pretty solid. The bad: Activities sometimes malfunction. The "help" function is still not very helpful in my option, which is NOT new to Harmony remotes in my experience. The remote often takes > 5 minutes to sync, even when no changes are made. I'm honestly not sure if I'd spend the money on this remote again. I've already had to warranty the unit out twice via the Geek Squad Protection Plan. ...Still, having this remote is insanely easier than navigating the 10+ AV remotes I have. Instructing strangers how to use a fairly complex system is much easier when there is a consolidated remote, which is something I'm not sure I could give up at this point.

This is one of the best remotes available. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because at times it seems to get confused and does not do what is required. 98% of the time it works very well. Customer service is excellent.

We originally bought the Savant, the Magnolia branded universal remote. We loved the screen and the use, however since it is a newer item the software and functionality just wasn't there yet. Also the screen would jitter uncontrollably and you were unable to do anything until it stopped. The logitech however we haven't had a single problem with. The screen may not be HD, but functionally in my opinion is superior.

I would have rated this GREAT but we had many startup problems getting it to work. I was on the phone with harmony several times before we got it to work. It works seamless now and some of the issue was operator error but it could have had an easier set up process.

Expensive remote that does too much

This is remote is great because I can control everything in my theater room to one remote instead of having 5. I can create activities that trigger specific devices and inputs, adjust the lights and select channels. Where it fails is that there is almost too much functionality. Switching between inputs is time consuming selecting the device then scrolling through list of commands. When I switch between activities there can be a long delay between everything turning on. If I have my lights set to turn of for one activity it might turn of when switching to another one. If I use the remote to switch inputs while an activity is running I am no longer use that activity because the remote thinks it is still running. Overall having the 5 remotes is less complicated.
