Liked this hub so much, I got a second one
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Harmony remotes are easy to setup and use. I like the hub so that I can use the IR blasters without having to open up my cabinet doors to my equipment. Pretty easy to customize and get setup with the application and the battery life lasts all day and then some. The recharging cradle helps to make sure I don't lose the remote either.

Very convenient
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like having one remote. Geek Squad had to program it twice. We had to put a delay so the TV and DirecTV come on first and then five seconds later the receiver comes on; otherwise we get a pink screen. On occasion the touch screen is not as responsive as we would like, but overall it is a great product.

Very good but:
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this unit to be very good to consolidate all of my remote controlled units. Very easy to install and to program. My one negative is that the touch buttons are very sensitive. As long as you can manage that small negative this is a great unit.

Expensive remote that does too much
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is remote is great because I can control everything in my theater room to one remote instead of having 5. I can create activities that trigger specific devices and inputs, adjust the lights and select channels. Where it fails is that there is almost too much functionality. Switching between inputs is time consuming selecting the device then scrolling through list of commands. When I switch between activities there can be a long delay between everything turning on. If I have my lights set to turn of for one activity it might turn of when switching to another one. If I use the remote to switch inputs while an activity is running I am no longer use that activity because the remote thinks it is still running. Overall having the 5 remotes is less complicated.

Easiest Set-Up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We originally bought the Savant, the Magnolia branded universal remote. We loved the screen and the use, however since it is a newer item the software and functionality just wasn't there yet. Also the screen would jitter uncontrollably and you were unable to do anything until it stopped. The logitech however we haven't had a single problem with. The screen may not be HD, but functionally in my opinion is superior.

Harmony Elite closet replacement for Harmony One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I held on to my Harmony One for as long as I could. I loved the physical buttons on the remote, and its ability to add lots of activities. Despite the lack of number keys, the remote, smart hub and mobile app really make up for the the lack of them. It’s great to turn on the stereo while in the other room, turn up the volume, and start streaming music from my mobile device.

Expensive, but worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My buddy turned me on to this because he laughed at all the different remotes I had. I’ve used universal remotes in the past and didn’t care for the “codes” required to have the remote learn. This was a completely different experience and well worth it. All my remotes are now in a drawer and this is the only remote in use! No more getting laughed at is a bonus!

Harmony Remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent, intelligent Remote. Combining devices for 1 button action is easy! Customer Service available for short period after purchase and helpful! Cons: Remote small in size for male hand and can be inconsistent on rare occasions. That being said, amazing! Pairs with ALEXA for basic TV functions!

Good, but short battery life and steep price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used the more basic Harmony Smart Remote for a while and found it to be a welcome addition to my budding smart home. Being able to tell Alexa to turn on and off the TV and change "activities" was awesome. I took advantage of a sale to upgrade to the Elite remote and I can safely say it's not really worth it. The display is helpful to address the occasional wonkiness that can occur within activies - allowing you to switch to device commands instead. It looks good and is responsive enough but it needs to live in it's cradle and that was a nuisance for me. I get about two days of light usage (1-2hrs/day of infrequent interaction) before the battery is completely dead. In short, Elite gives marginally more functionality than the basic smart remote at the cost of battery life and significant expense.

One remote to control them all...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3 years I’ve waited. It didn’t disappoint. A struggle to set up my invidia shield but once I figured it out it was all good. Haven’t touched another remote since I got this. I know I haven’t tapped into it’s full functionality but it’s still amazing. My wife was impressed when I dimmed the lights with the touch of a button. Highly recommend.

Nice Remote, Setup Takes Time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great remote once it is set up. There are lots of buttons and functions which is both good and bad. It takes time to program and then time to remember which buttons to push for which function. It is expensive, so watch for sales to get the best bang for your buck. Overall, I like it.

Love having only 1 Remote!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We are very happy with our Harmony Universal Remote. It's unlike any Universal Remote we've had in past years. It no longer takes 3 remotes to access some interfaces. We are very happy with it so far. Quick and easy to learn and the Geek Squad gave us instruction before they left.

I needed to replace a remote I loved..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So a bunch of years ago I spent a ton of money a Osiris. But as every one probably knows. Technology gets old fast. So some from geek squad recommended Logitech. It's like learning drive again. It does take time to learn and program this. I will give you a school analogy. I'm in 9 the grade I want to graduate! Geek squad is coming tomorrow to do an install for me. He will have me graduate tomorrow!

Harmony Elite remote with Hub
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Logitech Harmony Elite remote and hub replaces a 9 year old universal remote which gave good service, but had a failed battery. The new remote is easy to program using a smart phone. It is setup to control a home theater with both Tv cable and Roku and replaces the use of 4 remotes. I would purchase again.

Great Remote
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to setup and easy to use. It took all of about 5 minutes. the touch screen is a bit touchy. get your fingers to close and it starts changing channels or going to different setups. Not a remote to hold on to while watching. Use it and then set it down.

Nice Remote if you have HA.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great. I was able to get this to work with my ISY via a Raspberry PI interface. Programming took a little to do as it is not like older Harmony remotes where it is done via computer, this is mostly through an app.

Nice all in 1 remote
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Elite remote is very nice. 2 drawbacks is the short battery life which is 3-4 days.......and the volume when pressing down should be 1X the time or greater, but doesn't always work. I have to press for volume up/down until it finally kicks in for a rapid fire volume up/down..

What I've been looking for!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with this purchase!! I've had other universal remotes but they don't always work with everything. This controls my TV, sound bar, Xbox One, PS4, Roku and my Hue smartlights. I really enjoy that based on the activities I have setup I can also set a certain scene from my smartlights to on at the same time. I found this item well worth the price!

Life made easier
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not a tech guy by any stretch of the imagination so the geek squad and the Logitech Harmony Elite remote control has made my life immeasurably easier. I have several gaming systems that needed to be synced and connected to my entertainment system and I have one remote control to rule them all!
