Ihave had many harmony products overtime starting with the 650. This is is the only product that allows me to program all of the activities of my system, It is not the least expensive harmony however to get this functionality you would have to speed much more.

Only complaint is that my Google TV streamer has to be accessed via "devices" when I want to use it. A little annoying to toggle back and forth, but still only one remote is nice even with the toggling.

Great to have one remote for all devices. Best part is the "help" button. When something isn't working press help and it fixes it. Unfortunately it is not rechargeable and uses up batteries quickly. To solve this problem we bought rechargeable batteries for the remote.

Hi Rick, Thank you for your review. Harmony is an Activity based remote, refer our support article [https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/understanding-harmony-activities] for Understanding Harmony Activities. To change channels, I'd recommend you to create "Watch TV" Activity, select TV or Cable Box/Set Top Box/PVR as the Channel-Changing Device and complete the Activity setup. Sync your remote and start the Activity use the channel buttons to change the channel. Visit our support article [https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/how-to-create-a-harmony-activity] for steps to create a Harmony Activity. Please note that it is important to select the correct device as the channel changing device as that device commands will get assigned to the Harmony remote buttons in that Activity. I hope this will help, if you need any assistance reach out to [email protected]. Best Regards, Peter (Harmony Remotes, Logitech). LogiCC

    Good Universal Remote, but...

Like many others have said, the battery doesn't last long. I've fully charged the battery and left the remote on the counter without using it all, and the battery still only lasts at max for three days. I use the Harmony app on my iPhone when the remote is dead or charging. Overall, whether it's the app or the remote, they control the devices and activities well. I have my components hidden in av cabinet, with one ir blaster for my Yamaha Aventage receiver and another ir blaster for my Xbox One. The hub is hidden in another drawer not in sight of any of my devices. My tv I have the remote controlling it directly through IR as opposed to having the hub or blasters controlling it. I didn't want anything on top of my av cabinet with wires showing or barely showing.

    Good when WiFi is working

This remote works amazingly. It is leaps and bounds better than the previous versions of the remote. The only downside is that when the WiFi goes down (quite often if you have ATT) then the remote does not work until you get your system back up and configured.

Interesting concept, very little documentation. Tech support is under-staffed, slow to respond. Capable of a wide range of control, but illustrations and instructions leave many questions unanswered. Relying on YouTube to explain everything is a mistake. You have to live with this technology to fully understand it...it is not intuitive nor is it immediately user friendly. For the money, Logitech should do better for their customers. Recommended for only those technically savvy with a good deal of patience.

Upgraded from the basic harmony hun because I needed the extra room for more devices with my setup it works great for that. Where it loses a star is the smart controls for smart home devices are pretty buggy and don't work very well but the A/V side was my main concern

I am a professional AV installer and have setup many Harmony remotes. Logitech’s device database and setup flexibility are unmatched. The Elite is pricey, but you really do get what you pay for. There is a lot of tech built in here and something that should be usable for many years.

As advertised. Running dual televisions with receiver, etc. needed something to differentiate between televisions and the Harmony said it could and it did. Allows multi-disciplinary functions across several platforms in one simple command (once put into system, not hard). Highly recommended.

I ordered this as a replacement for a Harmony One that I have owned for years. It was failing and I couldn't make myself pull out all of the distinct remotes again. Despite the price I am not disappointed. Setup was easier on the old remote as I prefer the larger screen and web interface over the app interface, but the app works. I like that I can control my Hue lights with it too.

Had this remote because of all the remotes I had to control our entertainment at home. It does a good job of controlling all my units from receivers and TV to an older model CD player. Still learning to connect a couple of other units and will report back once installed.

This remote is better than the one it replaced which I paid over $1000 for and I had to pay someone to program it. Programming the Harmony Elite was easier than I expected, and I do not consider myself an very technical person. It took me a little time to get used to the programming platform, but once I did it was very easy to program and make changes. It has worked flawlessly since.

I use this remote for most of my jobs. The Harmony application and remote are an easy way to control your AV system. Harmony has made some recent updates that really have improved the functionality of this remote when controlling multi zone systems.

I bought this remote to replace 3 others. The basic setup was easy (connected through my Mac) and I've been tinkering with it since to customize it and get it to do more than just simple one/off. I opted for this model because I liked the customizable light and outlet buttons. I can toggle through lights for my living room and surrounding rooms at the touch of a button.

I got this thing as a recommendation from a friend who had a similar model. This one is fantastic. It is so easy to use once you get it setup. The setup is a bit quirky, using your phone app. But once it's setup it's a dream. 1 touch activity to turn everything on and go to the channel I love. Favorite channels right on the remote. And more. I love this remote!!!!

Had an older Harmony remote and was on the fence on as to upgrade or not. Got talked into it buy a Best Buy employee and was still not even that happy about getting it. Once I got home and got it set up I was super impressed. I am a big fan. Tied it into my lights as well as all my home entertainment and it has been a great addition. Would be hard to go back to not having it.

Pretty easy to use once you get use to the "touch assist" buttons. You barely need to touch any of the "activity" buttons. Best to not hold the remote when watching...too easy to accidentally change!

The remote feels solid, and great button placement. The screen has nice capacitive touch, but can actually be TOO sensitive at times. Voice input would make it perfect to go with my Roku. Also, the app for configuring devices is not well made, too complex to use easily.

This remote does everything you want it to do and does it well. Reason not 5 stars is controller can be touchy meaning when you pick it up it can change the chanel or turn the tv off if you hit the wrong button while picking it up.
