Works well for closed cabinet applications. Easy to set up only issue is the buttons are back lit making it difficult to see in a dark room.

Great remote, the only thing that's missing is either a screen or backlight. Those are available but the price difference is huge... Also works with Alexa ;-)

So so close. It would have been a 5/5 if the app did not need to phone home so often - like every time up unlock the phone even if the app is already running often.

I have setup like many which includes a cable box, TV, sound system, optical switch, and two gaming consoles. This has made my life so much easier. Did I have a first world problem? Well sure, I hated juggling all the remotes when it came time to watch TV or play a game or listen to music. This has solved that problem. It took me a while to get setup. This is not some magic in a box. You have to take time to setup the devices and build your activities. One of the harder devices to setup was the optical switch which I bought years ago. This helps me switch devices to my sound system. It has no labels or markings on it. I started setting up everything else hoping to go back to that. Not a good move. Get all your devices loaded first before setting up your activities. I eventually took a picture of my the optical switch through BING and it located the exact model for me! Once I had that I started all over from scratch setting things up. I used my iPad to do all this. There are lots of negative reviews on the Apple website about the app. If you have patience and are willing to put some time in it works fine. Once I got all the devices loaded, including connecting my Hue light system, I started setting up my activities. One for watching TV, one for one gaming console, one for the other gaming console, one for music while I am working, etc etc. While this does work with Alexa for voice control I find it much easier using IFTTT and my Cortana Invoke (yes I still use and love my Cortana Invokes.) I have two. Our main system is in the basement. From upstairs I can say "Cortana, TV Time." and by the time I get to the basement my TV is on, sound is working and my TV watching Hue lights are on without me having to touch anything. I can say "Cortana, Game time" TV comes on, XBOX comes on, optical switch changes to proper channel for sound, proper HDMI connection is made. All this while I am getting something to drink to take with me. :-) I can say "Cortana, Work Time" and my sound system comes on and it changes the cable channel to the Smooth Jazz station. I have several others but those are my main ones. At the end of each session when I am done with one press of the button on the remote everything goes off. Everything. (I have not found a way to verbally make it all go off, but I think I can manage picking up the remote for one button push. :-D ) Is it 100% accurate all the time? No. Occasionally something misfires, but is is very very rare. I definitely recommend *IF* you are willing to put the effort/time into getting it setup.

I now have three of these remotes. They are completely customizable and easy to program.

They work great! They won't work well with huge and complicated systems, but for three function AV systems (cable, audio, CD/DVD) they work fantastically. I have a cable box, and Apple TV, and a Bluray player, and it handled all of the functions, and the best part is this system is wireless. I can be in another room, and control the volume, or other functions. And the receiver has an infrared 'bug' that translates the wireless to the infrared for those many devices that need that. An extra one is available as a separate option. I haven't yet found a device they don't support too, which is nice. No more standing there making sure the device can see the remote. If they still sell this, it's amazing.

Awesome item! Take time for the setup and practice using it when it’s programmed. Love this remote. Super easy to customize and works with tons of devices. Phone app is also great.

Great remote controls everything you want it to. My only problem is that you must have app open but I chose to use tablet as secondary device.

works well, once you get it programmed. I have not completely figured out how to get to Netflix every time as my Samsung TV has a variation in how it comes up on power on. My only criticism is that the response time sometimes is slow with the remote. That is why the 4 starts versus 5. Other than that, good button layout, all the functions I need are there and once you get the hang of the programming functions, not that bad to program.

Works great ,, I bought this to go with my Google home, Now I can turn my TV on and off by voice. I even set it up to change inputs and channels.

I love that you no longer have to point the remote at the component

This remote hub is awesome it can just be a basic remote if you just want to use the included remote but when used with a smartphone or tablet it becomes an advanced remote letting you see and control everything. Don't get me wrong you can control everything with the remote but with no screen it's cumbersome.

My first all in one controller. Main draw back is that it does not have a screen. I wanted the radio frequency capabilities but units with the rf and a screen were more costly. There were infrared units with screens at a better price point but no rf. Fairly easy to set up once I figured it out and works flawlessly. My wife really likes it since she had trouble turning on all the components using multiple controllers. Only complaint i have is that i can't access my favorite channels from the handheld and have to use my iphone.
