I told the Best Buy staff that I needed a remote for components behind a cabinet. Geek Squad came to install and said it was not the correct remote - all components have to be visible. So I had to make another trip to store to return and get the correct Logitech remote and rescheduled Geek Squad.

I've been using harmony remotes for years. In my opinion, they are the best all-in-one remotes on the market, at this price point. The setup is simple, both hardware and software wise. The integration with smart phones, if you choose, is a great addition as well. Logitech has really invested in this product line, and it shows. Constant updates; expanding functionality into home automation; this remote does it all. You wont be disappointed.

Decent but Logitech use to be able to operate everything very well but now has serious limitations. Very difficult to control some devices during the initial setup.

Everything you need and easy to use. If this remote doesn't work for your device, you need new devices.

The Logitech Harmony Companion does a great job of unifying all my AV components under one remote. Unfortunately Logitech recently announced they plan to discontinue all their remotes. So if your video entertainment still has more sources than just a streaming box, I highly recommend you get this remote while you can.
