The Harmony hub is a great addition to any home entertainment system remote juggler! While the Harmony Hub performs well, and I have not had a problem from it at all in the past couple of months. The developer Logitech is lacking in how they allow for versatility in styling the remote in the iOS application compared to the of the native ir beam Android phones that developers have created apps for. - Additionally, if you opted to program the hub from the computer and are a Mac user, Logitech fumbled the platform and was late with a release that was comparable with MacOS Catalina.

The harmony is easy to connect all devices that work with Alexa or other Smart devices! Only took a few minutes to connect each device that we had! Works seamlessly together!

The hub works as advertised. It is easy to setup. The only draw back Is it needs to be positioned in front of the components to pass the signal. Your iPhone becomes your remote control.

Fails connecting to WPA Mac Airport Extreme Wless

Doesn't work with Alexa, My Mac Airport Extreme and my Mac Pro. All my other devices work fine on my Wi-Fi except this hub. When I set it up it worked for a week, then stopped working, I repowered everything and now it doesn't seem to be able to connect to my network. Very buggy. (Mac Pro, Airport Base Station with WPA set up, Alexa, & Harnomy Mac App.) Just hangs when trying to connect. Have tried to configure it from both the IOS app and by plugging into my computer. No luck.

I currently only use the media controls for this. I have my cable box and xbox one inside a media cabinet. Putting everything together is easy. It would be nice if they provided 2 IR Blasters instead of 1 - and they make it very difficult to find on their website. The Best Buy Rep I spoke to in store had no idea what he was talking about when I asked him about the IR blasters for the device, he told me there would be atleast 2 if not more cables in there (the hub has only 2 ports for iR). It seems easy to setup but then i realized I needed to pair it with my Harmony Touch instead. I couldn't get the apps to control anything so I took to the forums. Ultimately, I reset both the hub and the remote, created a new logitech myharmony account, and added back my devices and activities. Now everything works great. Minus 1 star for setup. Friend recommended the Roomie Remote and gave me the ethernet version for free. then I saw it was $10 to buy the app and control 3 devices, another $20 for 10 devices and other subscriptions- all to only use an Apple app- didn't workout for me as i had an existing logitech remote.

Although the setup wasn't quite as intuitive as the Link, the startup and shutdown macros aloe much better control. The eight device limitation given today's smart homes and connected devices is disappointing. However, the hub connected flawlessly with Lutron Caseta and Nest products. 4 stars due to lack of HomeKit and Siri integration.

Initial setup is easy. The IR blaster that it comes with is great. It's not in direct line of sight of my TV but still somehow has no problem controlling the TV. Integration with Amazon Alexa could be much better. I can turn on/off all entertainment system components, but other controls are more difficult. When I tell it to turn the volume down by 1 it may turn volume down anywhere between 1 and 5. When I tell it to turn volume up by 5 it may only turn it up by 4. It's fairly inconsistent and that has made programming some activities difficult. I've taken to using Anymote installed on my iPad to do certain other activities. They seem to cover for each other's weaknesses. Setting up voice commands with Alexa can be challenging. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the Harmony App in order to get things to sync correctly. The smart light and blinds integration is very nice. One click of a button on the app and all my lights will dim and all the blinds close. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, but there are a few little things to watch out for.

For the past decade, I have been a buyer of these all-in-one remote controls. Large, clunky, hard to set up. This Logitech Harmony Hub is the future! OMG... I love it so much. You basically turn your smart phone into a remote control... and it works on everyone's phones/tablets. The wife and kids are very happy too with this setup. You password protect your account that allows you to setup your equipment and various actions... but anyone on the wifi can get to the controls to watch TV/listen to music, etc. This is such a steal for under $100. I've bought remotes 3x that amount that come nowhere close to the incredible functionality of this piece of equipment. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who has to deal with a ton of remotes and wants less stress in their life.

I love this. It was VERY easy to set up and it works via wifi on your home network, or while away from home. I can turn my TV on while away from home. What a GREAT safety feature so no one knows I am not home. There is some lag time when using it through the internet but much more rapid when on your home network. The toughest part was looking at the backs of the hardware I wanted to add to get model numbers. Other than that the iOS app did ALL the work.

if your like me and have 700 devices all going at the same time. You need this! I wanted one remote to rule them all and I got it...on my phone! Yes you install the hardware and then install an app from logitech on your smart phone and it will control all your devices! I was looking at the other logitech devices that are all in ones and while the prices were fair it was more than I wanted t spend. then I saw the Harmoney....Hmmm install the app and sync all your devices with wifi/bluetooth! SOLD! Now while it works pretty well it could use some refinements, like the volume for my tv does not work so well, but it does work. all other functions work like a charm. It found all my devices and the interface works if not very visually appealing it does work. I would like to see some skins that would change the look and they may be out there I just have not checked yet... it was just under a 100.00 bucks and it took a whole 10 minutes to set it up after I read the instructions. Also its a small unit that is well designed and does not stick out in my stand. I am very happy with the purchase. The hardest part is finding the make and model of your units. If I was smart I would write those numbers down on the users manuals where they give you space to do that! :-) Also this device will control your lights and locks on your house if you have the compatible devices installed. All in all I would say its worth the money as I have only one remote and its on my cell and I dont have yet another remote laying around. And all the device remotes are tucked away nice and neat.

    Great Universal Remote Hub

The Harmony Hub controls all of my entertainment devices with ease. Now, I control my FIOS box, PS3, Marantz AVR, Mitsubishi HDTV, and Panasonic projector from my cell phone or my Echo Dot. Now, I ask Alexa to turn on the TV and the television, stereo, and FIOS box are energized and ready to go without fumbling for remotes. Finally, my family can watch TV with the AVR because all components energize simultaneously and with the correct AVR inputs.

This is finally what I've been looking for. After using several different Harmony remotes and then switching to the Griffin Beacon, this is finally what I was looking for. It was incredibly easy to set up and it just works. There is not a lot to customize, but then again you don't really need to either. The bluetooth pairing is in the hub itself so you can use several different devices (mine are iPhones) over Wi Fi to control the hub. The remote functions on iOS work great. No problems at all!

Works great. I have my tv, av receiver, dvd player, tv provider set top box, Gaming systems, Lights and it all works great. Supports tablets phones and I never need any remotes. All functions work from the most advanced that usually require the original remotes to your basic volume and power. Only down side is limited to amount of devices it will talk with at any given time. The Hubs with the remotes support more devices at one time.

I have a TV, Receiver, CD player, BluRay Player, Cable Box, a Game Council, and an Apple TV box. The unit recognized everything and even with two of the components inside a cabinet with no direct line of site from the main unit (at least not that I can see) everything is controlled with out any issues. It controls the sound through the receiver just fine and the setup to do this was quite easy. Setup in general was quite easy. The start up was well done and I had everything set up within 15 to 20 minutes. The hardest part was finding the model numbers for some of the devices as the numbers were on the back. I have the Harmony software on an android phone, android tablet, an IOS iPod and a IOS tablet, they all work as designed. They are not as quick as a Logitech Multi Remote, but not anything that could be called slow. Being that I, like most people I know, am always searching for the remote, because every hand held electronic I have is a remote, this is no longer an issue.

I have some technical savvy, and this definitely has helped when using this product. Getting it initially set up and functioning properly can be a little tricky. But once you set it up I have found it to work very well and reliably. I have two of these, for two different home theater set-ups in my house. I also have one set up at my in-laws house. They are constantly getting the inputs to their TV out of sync, I can remotely reset everything through the app on my phone. So far the Alexa integration has been perfect as well. My only complaint here is that you can only link one hub to Alexa, I wish I could link my upstairs Alexa to my upstairs set up, and my downstairs Alexa to my downstairs set up. Maybe that will be a future update. Overall I would recommend this hub. If you have some patience at the beginning, it has been a fine product.

    Remote Shuffle Resolved

Finally got tired of keeping track and shuffling through a half dozen remotes for my entertainment purposes I set about finding a universal remote. Since I wanted to control with my phone I decided on the Hub. Having no prior experience with a universal remote I was hesitant about setup and usability, but I needed a solution so I gave this a go. So, armed with the info about my system necessary for setup I gave up my whole weekend to set this up. Gathering info, taking the Hub out of the box, connecting to wifi, introducing all my equipment, setting up activities, and testing, including a couple of snafus that was due to human error took all of an hour and a half. The Hub walks you through the entire setup. So easy even a child, I take that back. even an adult can set this up. I should know, I'm 55. This far exceeded my expectations as to what this can do and ease of use. I also use this on a tablet because it's easier to navigate on the larger screen. So far I've had this setup and running for a couple of weeks now and it's been very reliable and trouble free. My only regret is not pulling the trigger a long time ago. Don't be intimidated, if you run into any trouble, there is a whole community of users on the Harmony Forums to help you out including the folks at Harmony.

The hub is amazing to control multiple devices at the same time. I use it to turn on my tv, and sound , as well as my xbox and select different inputs on the tv or my sound receiver, making it super easy to control, paired with the amazon echo, I just have to talk the commands
