I was given a Harmony Ultimate last year at Christmas and it's a great device. Setting up a media room in a second home the Harmony Hub is needed, because I'm putting all the electronics except the TV is a nearby closet. But as long as you have old mobile phones around or old obsolete tablets, you can save money by buying just the hub and having as many remotes as you need for free... Or at worst buying a cheap tablet and avoiding the $50 for the Harmony remote... The Hub itself works flawlessly.

This hub doesn’t completely eliminate your remotes but it definitely helps eliminate some of them. I like that it works with Alexa, but not all the time. Sometimes it’ll turn on some devices and not others. I also like that it enables you to control everything from your iPhone or iPad. Overall, good hub.

Set up was relatively simple, plug in and set up through the app. Device control works well, it can control everything on the network and others thru the included IR blaster (only one). Logitech refers to its presets as "Activities", and that part of the set up is the more complicated one. This is also the less-intuitive part, as you'll need to work to add in delays, pauses and repeats to make sure each device behaves as intended. The other scene downside is that it will turn off devices when you "end" the scene, so switching from watching tv to playing xbox can be tedious. All in all, worth buying, but plan to spend the first week or so tweaking it to behave as you need it to.

After owning a harmony universal remote for the last 7 years and truly loving the one botten feature in order to view tv or movies. It became time to buy a new one, I wanted to see if there is a option using my cellphone and this product far outpaced my expectations. Super easy setup and extremely user friendly. I would with no doubt buy this again. Very reasonable in price and works better than what we had before.

This was purchased for our son who is physically handicapped so he can use his phone to work the TV and it is a great purchase.

I got this to be able to control everything from my smartphone, and it does a super job of that. I like the way things are organized into activities "Watch Roku" "Watch Shield" "Listen to Radio" and it just works. The individual device remotes are now put well out of the way. I also have a MythTV PVR frontend, and it took a _little_ time and a call to support to get it working, but it _does_ work. Most folks won't run into this situation at all, but it's worth noting for the few that are looking for this kind of system. My only quibble with it is that while you can easily program it with new IR (infrared) remotes that the device database doesn't know already, you _can't_ set up a new/unknown device that talks over the WiFi/Bluetooth. I realize this would be EXTREMELY niche, but it's also worth mentioning.

We recently upgraded our TV and did not check to see where the IR sensor is. Of course it is blocked by the sound bar. We already had the Harmony Universal remote so we bought this to pair it with the remote and it works great. Not only did it resolve the remote IR issue, but I can control everything through my phone and I no longer have to use a USB cable to sync my remote now since it connects to the Hub.

Whether paired with my Harmony remote or one of my Androids, I love this device. Makes operating my devices, IR or WiFi, a breeze & fun. It can even be used to operate my equipment away from home. If you love tech & tinkering then this will be worth it, you'll not be disappointed.

This was very easy to set up. The hardest part was looking at the backs or bottoms of the products I wanted to control to find the model #s. It works great and was all up and running in 30 min or less. I have a tv, PlayStation 3, cable box, receiver, and Apple TV all set up.

If you have too many remotes or want hands free voice control of your entertainment systems this is perfect. So user friendly my 80 year old, technology challenged dad can use it. Got this for my dad when I upgraded his system to a 4k SmartTV. Consolidated all his remotes (TV, Cable, BluRay, Sound bar, etc.) into a single unit which he can easily control using Alexa because he always loses that remote. Logitech even upgraded their Alexa skill a few months ago to allow you to customize the cable channel names for voice control.

Works as expected... took a little while to sync with existing harmony remote but once all setup it operates everything hidden in cabinets. Haven’t taken advantage of more in depth programming but very satisfied with purchase. Would recommend

I am enjoying not having to go find the other remote where my wife hides (leaves) it. It works very well. But the layout is somewhat complicated and on a lot of pages. All the important buttons should be on one page. I am getting used to it. It really works great.

I was looking into a solution for my TV Set Up in my room. Unfortunately the sound bar blocks the TV Sensor for the remote and it was a pain to have to aim the remote really high over the soundbar every time. I found this Harmony Hub and read that it fires a signal all over and that it bounces through walls and cabinets. I was VERY skeptical that it would work. Amazingly, it worked great! The Harmony Hub and included IR mini blaster worked wonderful in the media center we have. Even if the IR sensors are blocked or out of the way, it somehow reaches them ALL. I am really happy with the hub. Also, the hub was EASY to set up with the app. I also bought a companion harmony remote with this and it works great! I am so glad I picked this up!

I use this to be able to control my TV with Alexa and occasionally control my TV with my phone when I'm too lazy to reach for my remote lol. Why only 4 stars? I have high standards and a 5 star rating has to be mind blowing. But overall, this product is great! I have one on each floor of my home.

This is a great add-on to any home entertainment system. This allows you to simplify connecting all your multimedia equipment and smart home accessories. It works with Alexa and allows you to control Philips Hue and Nest devices.

Easy to see up. Pairs easily with all comparable devices.

This was quite frustrating to get set up. Very little support. After some searching on the web I finally got the Harmony Hub set up and controlling my entertainment center. When paired with the Amazon Echo it's really cool.

This is also my second Harmony Hub. It took a bit of getting used to, to set up. However, once you master that aspect of it, you'd realize how 'indispensable' the Harmony Hub is when you want to voice-control your devices.

All the clutter of other remotes and even the endless buttons on other or older Harmony remotes has been decluddered here. Love the touchscreen gets you to the most relevant commands for what you are doing and you don't have endless buttons to look for. Battery life is not that great, so keep the charging base handy.

I needed a remote that would cover the loft area and its different components, not centralized in one location. And connecting it with Amazon Echo and IFTTT allows great control even when not in the room. The only downside is that I need to get the harmony hub extender in order to do the full custom job that I have been working on.
