This cam is great for the price. I really like how it swivels. You can also select a feature that allows it to follow your face. I also like the zoom. This camera folds up which is great for protecting it. It is VERY easy to use and the picture quality is great for a webcam. I was concerned it would not work too well because my computer does not meet all of the recommended requirements, but it works great.

Just upgraded my logitech my old quickcam to this HD cam.....absolutely no problems .....easy and does the job well.

I really have no complaints on this camera. Works great and great features. Inexpensive as well. I bought two. One for the kiddo for skyping.

I purchased this camera after weighing it with the c615. I just got this one cause i had 60 bucks and the the c615 was more expensive and i didn't feel like waiting. I have used it to skype, facebook video post, facebook video chat, google hangout, and take webcam pictures and homemade video rants for blogging. I love, love, love the video effects and filters. The video avatars are a little buggy but the other effects are hilarious. The Logitech HD video it comes with is rather buggy but there are ton's of freeware video recording solutions that make it not a bother. My windows 7 64 bit machine picked it right up after my Creative Ultra NX webcam was incompatible. I also usually just use the computer in the dark with just the glow of the monitor with an orange illuminated keyboard and the camera picks up my brown complexion against my orange walls through an orange keyboard glow. All in all, I am more then satisfied. I just wanted a webcam for skype, video blogging, and the new SOEmote technology. The video effect filters and the video accessories (with tons to download) were icing on the proverbial cake. Fun fun!

Set up easily, much better video quality than a previous lower resolution unit. Works as advertised. It sits on my monitor, but I've got to believe someone can come up with a better, more stable design for the mounting.

Plug and use ... that's all this took. Perfect for business use on home computer when telecommuting -- use it daily. Good value.

Bought this so I could Skype with my daughter overseas. Used it several times, and it works great. Picture is clear, and it was super simple to set up.

I am not a high tech person. I was able to set this up within minutes and have had several video chats with my friends in Florida. Sound and picture was great.

This webcam I bought for my son in TX so I could see and hear my newest granddaughter. Awesome! I have a Logitech 910 which has the 1080 image resolution and I love it ! It works very well with the 525 model. My son has no complaints about it so far. We use Skype and there is almost no delay and sharp pictures. No jerkiness. Logitech has very well made products. Have used their mice for years, plus a subwoofer speaker system.

I had my webcam for about 3 months and it runs perfectly as it should. You always changed settings on the webcam on Skype and it doesn't lag. The build-in webcam on laptops kind start lagging after awhile.

This webcam is a solid purchase that unfortunately don't get utilized enough. For skype and google chat purposes, this camera goes above and beyond what its price suggests. The only complaint I have is its horrible software, which most likely you'll never have to use or install in the first place.

If you are looking for something simple to video chat with friends this is a great webcam for that. It's easy to use, has decent clarity and it's fairly cheap. Only downside is the photo taking option. The pictures look like most webcam pictures in that they aren't that sharp of an image. Otherwise if you are Skyping, this is the webcam you want.

This is our first webcam, and it works fine. Wish it sits more securely on the screen.

I recieved this webcam on time with no shipping problems. It was extremely easy to setup. I had planned on using the Logitech VID HD software with it, but decided more friends and family are on Skype, so this review has nothing to do with the software. Video quality is good as is audio. I actually bought this for my grandparents while I'm at college and they seem to like it so I would say it was a success. It has perfect quality in the picture. And very easy to set it up. Literally take it out of the box and put the usb in and your done. lol.

This webcam was well worth the $40.00 I paid for it, the software was super easy to install and it had the effects that some of the other webcams that actually come with the laptops don't have, the only thing about it that wasn't so great is that it doesn't clamp on my laptop very well but all in all I think it was a great buy!! :)

This camera is amazing. You can set it to follow your face and keep you centered in the picture and automatically in focus. Easy installation following a few simple instructions. Download Skype (free version for me, so far...) and it practically runs itself.

i needed a web cam for work that was compatible with Windows7, this did the job. I was so happy with it i bought the wife one and my mother-n-law so the grand kids can call her daily. They also love the software that makes faces. When my coworkers saw it they ordered a couple. All you need is an internet connection. Skype, yahoo etc.. is not needed. For $39.99 its the best buy out there.
