I unplugged it and ran the affected area under the sink faucet to get what managed to get under the keys, after flipping it over and setting it on a towel until it dried plugged it back into laptop and it worked as well as always.

Really nothing wrong with my old Logitech keyboard other than the some of the key numbers getting a little faded with use. I do prefer the wired board rather than the battery one.
