Customers are saying

Customers love the ease of use, lightweight design, and high quality of the K380 TKL Bluetooth keyboard. Many appreciate its compact size, compatibility with multiple devices, and long battery life. Positive feedback also highlights the attractive color options and sleek design. While some minor issues with key feel and the lack of a caps lock indicator were noted, these were less frequent concerns.

I returned this keyboard after about a week. It does not allow you to use the `fn` + `delete` key combo to forward delete and lacks the delete key that the non-mac version has. I switched to the non-mac version which works great (but has reversed `fn` and `control` keys on the lower left).

I purchased this Logitech keyboard less than 60 days ago and the “i” key stopped functioning totally out of nowhere. I’ve literally only used this keyboard may 8 times.. Very unusual and of course it’s 7 days past the return date so let’s see how BestBuy handles this….

This is an outstanding product that I really think everyone could use. I have used this with my Apple Mac Mini, iPad, Iphone, Windows 10 computer and Android phone & tablet. It has worked perfectly with all of them. Bluetooth connection is solid and easy to set up. Build quality is good (not high-end good, but good enough for what it is). It is lightweight and small enough to use at home or on the go. Keystrokes are nice. In regards to using this with my Mac Mini, I prefer it over the Apple wireless keyboard that costs much more. Battery life is claimed as being two years but time will tell. Seriously, if you have any kind of Bluetooth device such as a tablet or phone you owe it to yourself to get one. And as you can tell from what I have mentioned above, it works perfectly with Windows & Android devices even though it's listed as being for Mac and iOS devices. I think they list it that way simply because the color of the keyboard blends with Apple devices. If your devices is Bluetooth, you should not have an issue.

    Prayers answers for Mac-K380 Aficionados!

If you are looking to buy the Logitech K380 that has the proper layout for Mac computer, this is it. I have the original K380 that was designed with Windows in mind. Functionally and aesthetically, they are the exact same keyboard. Keys and build are EXACTLY the same - same feel, same size, same weight. The multi-device support (3 device connections) works exactly the same. Just there are a few small differences in the layout that caters to the Mac crowd, and they are as follows: The CTRL/FN/Start/Alt keys in the bottom left are instead FN/CTRL/OPT/CMD. The CTRL and FN switch is the big one, as this matches a true Mac keyboard. The ALT/CTRL in the bottom right are now CMD/OPT. Again, this matches the Mac keyboard layout. The FN keys at the top of the keyboard have their functions match those of a true Mac keyboard, most notably the brightness functionality on F4 and F5. The F6 and F7 keys also have their Mac functions properly mapped too. Being that this is just a remodeled K380, it, like all other K380's, has multi-device support. So you can use the new Mac version with Windows PC's, similarly, you can use the old Windows-designed K380 with Mac computers. Of course the big limitation with the Windows-designed K380 are those CTRL and FN keys, along with the Function key mappings. It is a bit annoying using a Windows-designed K380 with the inability to control the brightness on a Mac, which is what makes the Mac-designed K380 very worth it for Mac users. What's really nice is using this Mac-designed K380 on a Windows PC (which works fine, by the way). You can now control the brightness from the K380, unlike the Windows-designed K380's (of course you lose some of the functions at the top from the Windows-designed K380, like the context menu button for example). When on Windows, the CMD key functions as the Windows key. CTRL works like CTRL, and the OPT button works like ALT (which are, for Windows, improperly switched on the right side). If you are a K380 aficionado and have been dreaming for the day that they would design a K380 with a Mac user in mind, your prayers have been answered. It is the same standard K380 that does just that. I'd highly recommend the keyboard if you are someone who likes having their mouse and keyboard separate. Of course, if you want a keyboard & mouse combo in one design, there are other Logitech models that do just that and the K380 will not satisfy that need. If you already have the Windows-in-mind K380 from the last several years and accept the lack of proper CTRL/FN/OPT/CMD and FN key mappings from Mac, then there is no need to buy this as it is the exact same keyboard with Mac designed keys. However, if those Windows mappings bother you to no end and you really want the Mac designed keys, then definitely upgrade to this Mac-in-mind K380.

Easy setup right out of the box, typical bluetooth pairing! The size is perfect to pack along with my ipad for traveling and the keyboard response is just like my macbook pro. The keys are round and feels great when typing because it cradles my fingertips. I am able to sync additional devices which is perfect for a mouse, ipad and keyboard. Battery life on logitech products are amazing especially after using almost 5-6 hours a day for the past couple of weeks. Overall, if you are looking for a compact keyboard that is bluetooth and can sync up to 3 things then this is the one to buy.

I have so far paired this with my ipad and even my windows 10 dell pc so far. I do have a Mac mini but it’s already paired with an Apple Bluetooth keyboard. But I’ll plan to use this often with my ipad. I used to have an old keyboard case but the keyboard size just wasn’t for me, yet this is. The keys are easy to get used to although they’re circular, but the typing response is great. This used batteries which I have no problem with as I use rechargeable ones. This is a great accessory for those bringing in their iPads to a coffee shop and what not.

Well, it's a keyboard. Like many others, but way cheaper than the Apple Magic keyboard AND can easily switch between devices (I tested with a MacMini, iPad, and iPhone for the heck of it). Very easy! Round keys take a little adjustment at first for me, but easy to get used to within a couple minutes. Hopefully the batteries last as long as advertised. Very pleased with this keyboard and a really good value.

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some connectivity issues with your K380 keyboard. I would recommend totally disconnecting it from your device and then repairing it, ie, make your Mac "forget" the device and then try reconnecting it, as this can sometimes solve connectivity issues.

I'm not sure if I got a faulty product, but my experience has been disappointing to say the least. Most importantly, a waste of hard earned money. ALL the symbols on the keyboard such as commas, question marks, or quotation marks type a different symbol, so when I try to add a period to my sentence, it's actually a plus sign?

Hello customer, I'm sorry to hear that you're having some issues with the device. That's certainly not something that should be happening. My son is an Apple fanatic and was able to pair this keyboard to both his iPhone and iPad. He tried to pair to his Apple TV but wasn’t able to. The pairing process is simple, but the directions don’t tell you that after you receive and enter the pairing code you need to press Enter on the keyboard - very important step! Once paired the keyboard is easy to use. My son uses with his iPad similarly to a laptop. There have been a couple instances where he let the keyboard fall off his bed and it’s taken a couple rough landings but still works perfectly fine. This is actually a pretty convenient device and my husband now wants one after seeing my son use it to send a text. Definitely useful!

Minimalist keyboard especially for Apple devices

(As part of the Best Buy Tech Insider Network program, I was provided a Logitech K380 for Mac unit in exchange for an honest review.) Logitech released this variant of their existing K380 keyboard with a tweaked layout specialized for Apple Mac computers (it also works well for iOS and iPadOS mobile devices). One of the key features of both this and the general K380 model is the multi-device support, which allows the easy toggling between up to 3 different devices that the keyboard can be bound to via Bluetooth. Binding is very easy to do, and I found the Bluetooth connection to be completely stable. Although Logitech aims this keyboard particularly at Mac users, iPhones and iPads also work great. Beyond that, I tested and confirmed the K380 for Mac also works reasonably well with Windows PC's - though beware, the relative positions of the Alt (Opt) and Windows (Cmd) keys are flipped from the standard PC layout. (Even the Logi Options software doesn't allow switching the functions of these keys, though it allows customization of some of the function keys. Unlike the standard K380, the keys are also not dual-labeled with both functions.) If you would primarily use this with Apple devices, rest assured you could still use it with a PC or Android device in a pinch; but otherwise you might prefer the standard K380. They keyboard itself is quite compact. It would definitely appeal to people that enjoy a clean (even spartan) desk. Alternately, its size makes it a great candidate to keep off to the side of a desk, ready to use with virtually any secondary device (phone, tablet, or laptop) for heavier typing. Unfortunately, the compact size is requiring some adjustment for me. It all feels slightly more cramped than most keyboards I'm used to - the keys don't seem smaller, but it does seem the pitch between keys is slightly less. It may only be around 1mm less intra-key spacing, but it's noticeable to me. My final verdict is that the K380 is a decent keyboard for the price, particularly if it's a supplemental keyboard to use with more than one phone or tablet as an alternative to the on-screen keyboard for writing longer pieces. If the minimalistic look appeals to you (and you're not worried about adjusting to a layout that might be slightly smaller), it can also serve as a nice primary keyboard. This Mac-specific edition is most appealing for using with Apple products. It does work with other brands of devices pretty well, too, though I think it would be a good improvement to add further customizability for this model to the Logi Options software on Windows.
