He was looking for a keyboard and mouse in one to use when his computer is plugged into his TV. This does it quite well. His only complaint was that the touch pad buttons weren't in a natural place for his large hands. It has various hot keys like PC Off that are nice for when your PC is plugged into your TV.

Works great still after 2 years

The wireless range is about 6-7ft though and you have to place the keyboard almost in straight line to the laptop where I placed the receiver, other than that it is a great product.

Great alternative to replacing my laptop

It worked great and excellent battery life. The only thing I have found difficult with it is having the touch pad and buttons to the right rather than bottom. I never realized how often I just pulled my hand back, navigated and clicked.
